Generally speaking, smaller campervans (such as those built on a van chassis) are easier to drive than larger ones (such as those built on a truck or bus chassis).
Driving a campervan can require some adjustment if you're not used to driving larger vehicles. Some campervans can have limited visibility due to their size, and may also be slower to accelerate and turn compared to a regular car. Parking is normally the area which stumps new drivers the most, as the turning radius on a van is much less than a car. Adding a backup camera is a great way to make parking easier and safer, especially for larger vans.
That being said, with some practice and patience, most people find campervans to be relatively easy to drive, especially compared to larger RVs. It's a good idea to take some time to get used to the vehicle's handling and size before embarking on a long trip!
