The water is heated to ~200 degrees by the engine, and the tank has a cold water mixing valve so the 4 gallons lasts a long time (easily two showers). I almost never use the electric heater since the water gets hot after driving the van for 20-30 minutes, but the electric heater heats the water from room temperature to 160F in about 30 minutes. Outdoor shower (inside rear door) with thermostatic mixing valve - set the water temperature you want and the valve adjusts automatically! C-Head composting toilet inside pull-out cabinet that doubles as a step to get in the bed. This can be removed if you have another toilet you'd rather use! The electric system is big enough to run everything in the van for at least three days without solar, or indefinitely with long sunny days. The 35 gallons of fresh water lasts over a week if I'm using the shower every day, or 3-4 weeks if I'm showering at Planet Fitness. The huge fridge easily holds enough food for a couple weeks.
