Seller's Description
**Check Out the YouTube Video for a walkthrough** ** Note - ceiling has been completed since video was made** 2006 T1N Adventure Van 140'' Length, high roof. 220,000 Miles Got 26mpg on a recent 1500 mile trip. Mechanically van is excellent. Note - The van is not 100% complete (some ceiling panels need to be finished + some other small tasks.... However it is 100% useable and all major systems are installed and functional (diesel heater, electrical, water, etc). The van was a CA registered van for most of its life. It was refurbished with a underbody coating and repainted which looks great. Mechanically the van itself is in geat shape - a few thousand has been spent in maintenance to replace/service hoses/belts/fluids etc. I constructed the van using high quality materials including 8020 aluminum, marine grade plywood, expensive non toxic wood treatment, etc. It is built well, very sturdy. This van was constructed to serve as a ski/climb/bike adventure van with 1-2 week trips in mind. It has 400Ah of LiPo4 Lithium Batteries and a Victron 2000 Multiplus Charger/Inverter. There is plenty of power for heat, light, venting and induction cooking. Skis fit horizontally under the cabinets, and bikes can fit under bed (have not installed shelf system for bikes yet). Van has snow tires & chains. Its a good adventure platform. Completed a 1500 mile ski mountaineering trip and the van performed well with no major issues. Two bikes with front wheels off (I ride an XL 29 wheel size mountain bike it's very big) can fit under the bed. If you take off the rear wheel, then you will have no obstruction of the drawers. My intention was to be able to transport the bikes around town/short trips with just the front wheel off, and then if going long distance, take both off so that there is more room to cook/etc. (necessary limitation with a short van) The bed is queen size with a comfortable firm mattress. The mattress folds into 1/3 its size and the frame slides shut, creating more room after sleeping. (see video) Cabinetry built from 15 series 8020 Aluminum, bolted directly to van. Cabinet boxes are dovetail construction with undercount soft close slides. Cabinet List: 1 Cutlery Drawer (large enough for much more ie spices, etc) 1 Deep Drawer (food) 1 very large wide/medium tall drawer (big enough for pots/pants, + whatever else) Upper 8020 cabinet framed (see pics) but not finished. 1 large lightweight Fabric cabinet above bed (not shown) Over-cab Shelf The heater is just forward of the wheel well, dispersing heat directly under the bed and also into a drying cabinet (via a splitter) for wet gear / ski boots. The van also has a 8020 Roof Rail system that is ready to accept solar panels and an awning. Specs: Electrical Victron MultiPlusII 12V/2000VA Inverter Charger Victron Bluetooth Dongle 400Ah, 4,800 Wh Lithium Batteries (powerurus) 40-60amp (adjustable) DC-DC Charger for alternator charging 120VAC outlet near kitchen with GFC protection Van is wired for solar and AC. All wiring is marine grade with proper sizing and fuzing Heat Eberspacher Espar Airtronic S2 D2 L. Walls Panels are plywood, coated with non toxic water sealant and anti-mold paint, then 5mil padding, then marine fabric. They look and feel very nice.
