1996 Chevrolet Astrovan AWD Luxury Touring Full Build: 200W Solar panels, 100AH LI Battery, Lights, Maxxair Fan, 23Qt Fridge/Freezer, Chargers (2 USBC, 2 USBA), Water Pump, 6 Gallons running water, 8ft Roam Awning, Pull out bed (Twin/Full size), Water-proof vinyl flooring, plenty of storage. Vehicle: Upgraded BT stereo system, Brand new battery, new water pump, new swaybar, new idler arms. The engine is a beast and on its longest continuous, hottest drive, (SD, CA to SLC, UT), it did better than my 2013 Subaru! Never over-heated or had any problems, seriously impressed with the enigne. Seems to get in the range of 20-22mpg. It's an old car and the outside really has not had any work cosmetically. There is some trim under the passenger door on its way out, and the paint is not in the greatest shape. I lived full-time in this van with my vanmate for over 3 months last summer. I wanted to see if van life could work for us and it sure did! I was afraid it would be too small and whatnot, but it never got old. Super sad to be letting this van we named Chet go, but it is time for our upgrade. I'm really proud of this build and would be happy to discuss/show anyone who is interested!
