Seller's Description
I had high hopes for continuing our travels around the country, but our toddler cannot stand being in the car for more than 10 min. at a time, so we are changing direction. My mostly finished 2013 Sprinter is up for sale so it doesn't sit in our driveway unused. It’s a bummer since it has been my pet project for a few years and we love taking out in the mountains. The van is the 170" wheelbase, has a 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel Engine, and 92.5K miles. The van interior is mainly constructed from 80/20 and baltic birch panels driven into plus nuts; The idea is that panels could be easily removed for new features (speakers, plumbing, etc) and shelving could be moved around if needed. The insulation is 3M Thinsulate and the floor is woven vinyl. In February 2024, Mercedes of Westminster conducted the ‘Emission Modification’ (new DEF, NOX sensors, more) that renewed some of the warranties for the Diesel Exhaust system. They also conducted a routine transmission, drivetrain service, and an 11 point inspection (I can provide the PDF with details). I also installed two new rear tires on 4/26. The van is running great and ready for the next adventure. The Good: Fiamma F80s Awning 13’2” (Manual) Dometic CFX3 100 cooler (hard wired) 2 Rich Solar 100W Solar Panels Installed on Roof MaxxAir roof fan 7500K Custom two seat bench made from original bench seat Front seats swivel Wired LED lighting 2 Outlets with 12V USB and 120V plugs Window shades surrounding bed (back windows and two side windows Woven Vinyl flooring 3m Thinsulate insulation throughout (including floor) Nickel Rubber Flooring ‘Garage’ 1’ x 3’ heated flooring pad 12v Brooklyn Bedding Mattress (size is an RV king) External MiMo antenna and verizon 4G wifi hotspot Electrical: -LiFePo battery 12v 400ah (I built it) -2000w pure sine wave inverter with automatic transfer switch -Renogy 12V 50A DCDC Battery Charger -12V Battery charger (shore power - has an exterior plug on van) Outstanding work: -Electrical ‘Box’ is not 100% secure to side wall; I was waiting on building the shelving under the mattress -The DCDC charger does not charge from the alternator, it is wired up to the battery but I need to install the ignition wiring circuit -The windshield got two cracks last month. Unfinished: The big projects are a ‘kitchen’ and drawers under the bed. They were on my list for this year but I just don’t have time. I have some of the pieces such as a butcher block countertop, more 80/20, havelock insulation, and extra baltic birch I can throw in. More photos are available upon request and happy to answer any questions.
