Seller's Description

2003 Ford E-150 4.6L v8 173K miles IMPORTANT: I'm leaving the US and the van needs to be gone by April 30th. Converted 2003 E-150 camper van ready for your next long road trip or weekend camping excursion. Perfect for couples or individuals looking for a self-sufficient rig for anything from long-term travel, living in or weekend trips. This rig is ideal if you'd like something less cumbersome to drive and park. This van has frequent and regular preventative maintenance performed on it and runs fantastic. In the last 10000 miles the rear leaf springs have been replaced, transmission fluid changed, all spark plugs and ignition coils replaced. I changed the oil every 3000 miles. I just replaced the car battery. The registration is up to date and the title is clean. Sleeping The futon bed sleeps 2 comfortably and it folds up creating a great space for using the kitchen in the morning or relaxing after a hike. Power The van is equipped with 200W of solar panels and a 200Ah battery for charging your devices and lighting the van. There are four USB ports above the dresser and an inverter behind the drivers seat. It also can connect to shore power if you're planning on leaving it parked for a while to keep the battery topped off. There's a portable LED light in the back part of the van with a dimmer switch. Cooking The van comes with a double burner Coleman stove that runs off a 20lb propane tank inside the van. Heating There is a MyBuddy heater that is also connected to the propane tank so this van is ready to sleep in 0 degree weather. (NOT PICTURED). Van comes with snow chains! Food storage The van has a fridge located between the driver and passenger seat. The fridge conveniently works as an armrest and makes drinks and snacks easily accessible for the passenger when on the road. There's a net above the countertop and sink for dry food storage. The van has enough storage for food for 2 for about a week. Storage The van has a 3 dresser drawer and a "closet space" for storing clothes, backpacks and other things. There's also a storage space underneath the bed that can fit skis and other larger items. I stored up to two surfboards by the ceiling too. Shower & Water I added a black PVC pipe on the roof that works as a water storage and a convenient shower solution. The pipe stores enough water for multiple showers. Pressured with a bike pump through a valve. The sink inside is connected via a pump to a water container in the back. There's a filtration system hooked up to it so you can drink the tap water (would recommend getting a fresh filter insert). The dirty water goes into a plastic tank that's underneath the sink. Infotainment system Pioneer brand. The touch screen display in the cabin is connected to a backup camera. You can connect your phone to the device via cable and play music and display navigation via Apple CarPlay Body damage & bumper There is body damage on the driver's side back panel (left side rear). The previous owner looked into getting it repaired but there wasn't a great way to get it fixed so he decided to leave it as is. There was no damage to the interior build. After the incident, a custom bumper with a tow hitch and LED reserve lights were installed. There are 2 cracks in the front window. They've been there since I bought the car and didn't get any worse since. I never replaced the window because it seemed expensive but it's probably something worth considering.
