Seller's Description

Van layout/overview – permanently fixed queen-sized bed, separate shower/bathroom space, seating area with pull-out table, propane (stove, oven, hot water, and furnace), huge garage, 42-gal water tank, 300 watt solar, and 200AH LiFePO4. I am selling my van after living and working in it full-time. I am a PhD student and I have been teaching remotely but I am now in the last year of my degree. I am moving back into a brick and mortar to focus on wrapping up my degree and entering the job market. Planning on making my return to nomadic living in the not-so-distant future! I am the second owner of the van and I bought it pre-built. Details - Plenty of space and storage! Its the biggest model of the Promasters. Modern features (backup camera, good A/C, bluetooth stereo, etc.), full bathroom with composting Nature's Head, 12v Dometic fridge, Dometic propane range/oven, stainless steel sink, comfortable kitchen seats for 2-3 people, extra countertop space, thermostat controlled heater (propane), 200 amp hour LiFePO4 battery bank (easily has room for more batteries), 300 watt Renogy solar panels(2x150watts), 2000 watt pure sine inverter, Renogy 40amp solar charge controller, two Maxxair fans, hot water heater (shower & sink), 42 gal water tank, 12v Shurflo water pump, cedar ceiling, queen size bed, plenty of lights (living space, bathroom, "garage"), lots of storage (kitchen cabinets, closets, wardrobe, garage space), Insulated (3m acoustic insulation + reflectix foil insulation). Notable issue - When I bought it from the first owner I was told I had to replace the dead inverter. The replacement does not have a charger so you cannot hook up to shore power with the current electrical system. I don’t want to mislead anyone who noticed the shore power hookup on the exterior. There is plenty of room to add a charger and I would be happy to advise on how that can best be done, if desired. The van also has dents on the exterior (pictured) which are all cosmetic. The first owner I purchased the van from built it themselves, a younger couple who are public school teachers. They were travelling in the van during summer break but recently had a child which led them to sell the van to me. Specifically, an as-is sale with the broken inverter (and broken faucet which I replaced). Staying in contact with me/Records - I have all the maintenance records available upon request. First owner only took it to dealership and I have as well! Additionally, I am completely open to staying in contact with the van’s third owner to be able to answer questions. I am interested in working together with a buyer so that I can pass along a manual/series of videos with the van to ease the transition, as well as any confusing moments that might happen a few months down the line. This van was my home and literally my everything for the last year – I want to make sure it can feel like a home for you too! :) Sale details - Ideally you will pick-up in the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois 61820 area to allow for my bank to facilitate the sale for both parties. I will be happy to pick you up from the airport if necessary. We will go to my bank and they will have the title ready to sign - I’ll pay off the remaining loan (title is lein) and we’ll do the sale right there with a bank representative. I am open to hearing other options for the sale but in my experience this option will be best (free escrow service!). Cashier’s check or cash works - as a buyer I decided I was most comfortable with a cashier’s check but it’s up to you. I live in Chicago and I unfortunately do not have a trusted local 61820 dealership/mechanic (if you are interested in a pre-purchase inspection, for example) so that choice is up to you. I am more than happy to send over the most recent multi-point inspection as part of my maintenance records. Custom grandma-made cushions and pillows are included. Custom grandma-made quilt is NOT included! Hit me up with any questions/for the VIN and I’ll reply as soon as I can. Happy to set up a video call as well :)
