Seller's Description
2017 Ford Transit Mid-Roof Camper Van 22k Miles 148" wheelbase Summary: This gently-used off-grid campervan is a comfy home for 1-2 people. The van body is a 2017 Ford Transit Mid-Roof with 23,XXX miles, and I am its one and only owner. I’m actually a big fan of the mid-roof. It fits through all the drive-thrus and it made driving, particularly with wind, a lot easier compared to a high-roof. It’s also still under bumper-to-bumper warranty until mid-July 2024 (woot!). There are several other warranties listed in the description that still apply as well. The build contains top-of-the-line electrical components, butcher block countertops, birch plywood, and other high-quality building supplies. I built this with quality in mind and not with the purpose of building cheap to turn a profit. I had never planned on selling it after pouring my heart and soul into this build for over a year. However, my interests have changed and I’d like to settle down on a farm. I will no longer be able to travel frequently with animals. There are two Maxxair fans and a super energy efficient webasto heater (both professionally installed). Everything is insulated from the ceiling to floor for four-season adventures. There are 3 ways to charge your 3 x 100 amp hour Lithium Ion BattleBorn Batteries (with room for another battery installation, if you’re really power hungry). These methods include 435 watts of solar (professionally installed), a battery-to-battery charger, and an AC plug-in. A built-in propane stove, large DC fridge, nature’s head composting toilet, and hot and cold water via sink and shower will take care of all of your needs. Some of my favorite features of this van are all the added security: 3 external deadbolts, 2 internal chains, lockable cabinets and drawer, and some secret hidey-holes. I traveled solo and derived a lot of comfort from these features when sleeping or leaving the vehicle unattended. The garage drawer that slides all the way out is also a total game changer. With this purchase, I’m including a WeBoost, Starlink, Parks Canada Pass, insulated window covers, and leveling blocks (if you want this stuff) so that you are truly ready to pack some clothes and hit the road! Check out the tour video below! The tech specs are also listed for my fellow nerds. I also have a large stack of the manuals as well as a diagram for the electrical setup. The asking price is $60,000 and is negotiable.
