Seller's Description
After a long journey across America and Mexico we are selling beloved Campervan. The base is a 2003 Chevy Express 3500 passenger van (long body) that was completely transformed into our wooden home. Due to 360 degree windows (tinted in the back) you have a wonderful view all around while maintaining your privacy. Maybe the best thing about this Campervan: It comes fully equipped... From stove, pan, pots, plates, towels, beddings to even wine glasses... Snorkeling gear, yoga mats, mosquito nets... it got everything you need to immediately start your own adventure. The van includes the following: - Storage space under the bed - 8 gallon with shower head - big 200Ah Renogy ultra deep cycle AGM battery, automatically charged by the inverter without compromising the starting battery (runs fridge and regular cellphone charging for around two days when fully charged) - Victron Energy battery protect, shutting off the electricity when the voltage drops 11,7 volts. - In total 8 12V Sockets throughout the van, 6 USB 2.1 Amps Sockets and two USB C 30 watts Power sockets for MacBooks etc. - 2kw built in diesel standing heater with high altitude function and 5 gallon diesel tank in the back (takes less than a gallon for a really frosty night) - 40L Ivation fridge (with optional heating function) for 12V and 115V operation - Cabinet with a drawer underneath - Cabinet with six areas with boxes included - Small bookshelf - Full insulation on bottom, sides, top and doors, all behind wooden panels - Solar lights - Full size very comfy memory foam mattress - Very robust vinyl flooring - Full camping and living equipment as described before - Very well working AC and heater in front and back - Ultrasound mosquito repeller Fuel economy: Well... the car got a 6 liter V8 engine, but the fuel economy is much better than one would imagine. We were driving the car around 15mpg on regular gas (except for city driving of course...) Technical condition: The car is in a very good technical condition, no maintenance backlog at all and since we were driving the car over thousands of miles recently, always maintaining its technical condition, I'm quite confident to write that it has nothing hidden that I don't know of. What has been done recently other than regular services: The whole engine cooling system got renewed, including radiator, thermostat, water pump and fan clutch. Brakes ar ok, tires are ok (2020), suspension checked recently, alternator is working fine, belt renewed recently... all good. External condition: Well... It is a Chevy Express and it has got the paint job of a chevy express... On top of it it got hail damage on top and hood. We did our best to immediately cover missing paint with new white paint. It's not super beautiful, but almost completely kept the car from corrosion. We named it Charly, and it is perfectly ready for another adventure... after a long journey we are headed home to Germany and unfortunately we can not take the van with us. Delta Airlines won't allow... The van is available to be visited in 90045 Los Angeles, California. Feel free to reach out and come around to check it out!
