2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT minivan with camper kit. Vehicle is in good condition, newer tires, new battery, 4.0L engine, runs well, has roof rack. Windshield does have crack in it. We have owned it 4 years and it have had no mechanical issues. Allows you to have a camping van that fits in your garage. This minivan camper kit has been the result of many design hours and revisions. It has allowed us to travel inexpensively, sleep comfortably, and prepare amazing meals along the way. I built this in 2021 and it worked incredibly well for picnics, camping, and cross-country trips. The camper kit can be installed or removed in 15 minutes and does not require any vehicle modification and can be easily converted into a camping van and back into an 7 person minivan any time you want. Assembly is easy. 2 plywood bases get put in the van and the rest of the components get placed on top and locked in place with just a few screws. The left rear cabinet is on heavy duty glides and when pulled out gives an incredibly large kitchen and food prep area. This camper kit includes sleeping area, large kitchen area, a sink with on-demand water, a Dometic flushing camping toilet, and a compressor fridge/freezer. The sink and fridge are powered off the vehicle, but we recommend running them off a portable power station like a Jackery. This is a homebuilt, one of a kind unit, and it’s solidly built and has tons of storage for your gear. The carpentry fit and finish is good but not cabinet maker level. The design allows one or 2 people to sleep comfortably. Storage compartments are huge so we have fit the refrigerator/freezer, lawn chairs, portable grill, toilet, 10 gallons fresh water, a fully stocked kitchen, food, and all sorts of personal gear into the storage bins. We have used 4" memory foam tri-fold mattresses for very comfortable sleeping, had a flushing camping toilet behind driver's seat, and later added a connecting tent that worked extremely well for camping needs. We used our Jackery to power the water system, but it is able to be plugged directly into the vehicle if you don't own a portable power station. Price comes with 12 volt fridge/freezer that can run off you vehicle, 5 gallon water jug for domestic water, all the cabinets, on-demand sink that is also powered by the vehicle, and a Dometic camping toilet as shown.
