1992 AWD GMC Safari Camper van AWD camper van in great working order. I built it out myself a few years ago for surfing/biking/climbing trips. I worked to make it a very functional van, so while the aesthetics might be lacking, the engine/transmission is solid and functional features are packed in. Plus it is AWD! The good: 88,000 mi AWD - (Originally built as AWD, not an after market kit) Well maintained - Was owned by a school before I bought it, engine/transmission in good working order, I have not had any major issues. Couch that pulls out into double bed - Cushions fill the double bed. Maxx fan 5100k, with intake/exhaust, 10 speed settings, automatic thermostat. Sink with running water via electric pump, 2.5 gal water capacity. Powered by a Goal Zero 1000X. 175w Renogy Solar panel on top. 2” foam board insulation throughout with spray foam covering anywhere the hard foam couldn’t reach. Insulation was my #1 priority in building it out. Back-up camera. Click and lock flooring. Wood panel walls, ceiling and trim. Floor vent, opening to underside of van to have cross breeze when raining. Stereo with apple carplay (is not currently hooked up to antena). Battery operated ceiling lights. 55L Canyon cooler. The down-sides: It’s an older van, but have heard of these running to 300,000 mi, which is why I bought it. Dents, scratches, dings. There is some body rust on the underside of the trim (pictured); undercarriage looks good. Driver side door handle is loose, but still works and can be replaced if desired. A/C doesn’t work.
