2015 Sprinter Camper Van

Selling this awesome sprinter van, we are the first owners of the professional conversion done in 2020. 157k miles rear wheel drive Freightliner brand but it's a Mercedes chassis. It's been lightly/lovingly used and well maintained, detailed after each trip and always serviced through the Mercedes dealership. We have a clean bill of health and comprehensive diagnostic from the Thousand Oaks Mercedes Sprinter Specialists as of Aug. 6th, 2024. We are the third owners of the van itself, second owner was the builder and did not use it personally just converted it. Diesel engines well taken care of can last for 500,000 miles, so there are endless road trips and adventuring in this van's future. The length of the wheelbase is 170" allowing for a full queen bed and ample "garage" storage in addition to the kitchen and bench seating build out behind the cab. The van gets about 19 mpg. Heavy duty alarm and gps tracking through DroneMobile system, there is an app to track everything which costs about $13/month for the pro subscription or cheaper about $4/month for basic capabilities. GPS is optional through the app, the alarm system is built in regardless of using the app. Mercedes Sprinter reversing camera with 7" mirror monitor is installed over the rearview mirror and shows rear of vehicle full time while van is running. Long term storage is possible because of battery maintainer/tender installed that plugs in to external outlet with an extension cable from the driver's side door. A BugWall has been installed in the sliding door with a thick chill curtain which can keep heat or AC in while the van door is open, with a zipper entrance not magnetic. It zips in easily for each use and is taken down to close the van door, and there is additionally a blackout curtain that snaps in if desired. Solar powered to camp off grid with lithium battery storage and Renogy smart one management through a free app. Shore power plug in option for AC/Heat and limitless use outside of battery storage, as well as solar battery charging. Cabin is separated from the living quarters by a wooden sliding door with magnetic locks which creates significantly improved insulation and privacy/safety as well as being able to park anywhere and not look like campers. The living area has a kitchen, bench seating, storage and a queen bed. Built in shower with a water heater and a Thetford Porta Potti is available/included but not built in, it's stored in the bench seating storage and pulled out for each use. Kitchen has a butcher board countertop with pull out cutting board, spacious spice rack for convenience and full time living, and multiple drawers and upper storage as well. Rosewill induction cooktop is included and gets plugged in on counter. The kitchen also features a mini fridge and freezer - Dometic Refrigeration CoolMatic CRX 50. There are 3 different 2-plug outlets throughout the build, one in the kitchen, one by the bed and one in the bench seating. 22.5 cubic ft of storage in the living quarters. 9 overhead recessed lights provide ambient dimmable lighting in the kitchen and throughout the living space, controlled by 3 separate switches throughout the space for convenience, on the DC circuit. Next to the bed there are DC chargers as well for off grid charging, separate from the AC 120V outlets which require the inverter be turned on. The van does not need to be plugged in for the outlets but will work off of the solar battery storage. In the "garage" below the bed, you will find the battery and utility storage as well as approximately 80 cubic ft. of storage, this is invaluable. If desired, the new owner could install a rack in the garage to hang the solar batteries to allow for even more space, we have not needed to do this but it was mentioned as an idea for more storage and better use of the space. Plumbing details include: 14 gallon tank of clean water for sink and shower, filled with the hose attachment in garage; 2.5 gallon water heater (no steam shower but gets the job done and works off grid); SeaFlo Diaphragm pump 42 series which pumps water from the lower storage up to shower and sink; the shower is under the bench seating and hooks are installed from the ceiling to hold up the shower curtain; 7 gallon grey water tank for the shower, emptied from the outside of the van; 7 gallon grey water tank for sink which is emptied by taking it out of the under sink storage and dumping. Electrical details include: 2 200-watt 12v solar panels and 2 100-watt 12v solar panels. External 40 amp female, 40 amp cable (for camping sites) with 15 amp adapter (for basic plugs) for the shore power. 2 12v 200 AH Renogy Lithium batteries with 60 A DC-DC battery charger and Park Power master battery switch. Solar power controlled and monitored by Renogy One panel in living quarters and by app on phone. Renogy 12v 2000w Pure Sinve Wave Inverter to use AC when not plugged in.
