Seller's Description

The Van With No Name: 1995 Chevrolet G30 high top box van, 75K miles, V8 diesel engine, 14 MPG Priced to Sell at 40K!! Our Story: We’re Mark & Miranda and we love to travel! Covid changed our lives so that we could work and travel full time!! We built out this entire van in front of our house in New Orleans. Before we even began our van life journey, we knew we wanted to build out more vans - the build was half of the fun for us! Mark and I met as neighbors in Indiana, and our first few days together were spent building up our backyard for a fun summer together with neighbors and friends. We now own rental property in New Orleans, which we have also remodeled ourselves, so this was a no brainer project for us! We were able to travel in this van for about a year to some of the most incredible places in North America! We’re excited to hit the road again soon, but we just purchased another van to build out because we’ve missed working with our hands for a bit!! This Van With No Name was great to us, and we’re excited to see her move on to a new loving family! See some of her travels on your favorite social media platform @DrivingThenDrinking Link to Video: maybe coming soon! Check out our social media! Stealth Level: like 100 because no one else drives a van like this one, not your typical obvious Sprinter van. Park in any parking space, even cramped city parking lots or parallel on a side street. Feel safe staying overnight anywhere! We never got the knock once!!! It looks like a work truck!! Park by a mechanic and you’re golden. Solar Powered: Three securely roof-mounted 100w solar panels offer enough power for 2 people to live full time while cooking 3 meals a day, remote working on laptops, and binge watching Netflix every night! TWO computers, TWO iPhones, TWO apple watches, etc etc etc. No need to worry about lugging around detachable solar panels that you need to set up outside like a lemonade stand every day! Charge While Driving: Gain 10% battery for every hour you drive! If you’re not driving and parked in the shade, a full charge will last you 4 days with no sun with moderate use. No loud generator required! Diesel: Diesel engines last for 300-500K miles! We have done extensive traveling in the last year, and only put 25K miles on it! For a fully functioning tiny home on wheels, this is a super crazy price that could mean 15 years!! At 40K, that’s like $2,666 per YEAR for rent! That’s like $222 per MONTH! To own! And no electric bill?! Goh-lee, sign me up! This is a CHEVY VAN that every mechanic and his brother knows how to work on. No through the roof Mercedes dealer with a 3 month wait for a tune up here! Full Bathroom: You’ve seen those vans that pull out their toilet into the kitchen? Not this van!! Top of the line Nature’s Head compost toilet that separates liquids from solids, and is removable to make it able for you to take a shower. Room is a fully functional wet-bath with a locking door. Kitchen: Cooking is very important to us, and as we built this to be our full-time home, the kitchen is very functional. There is a built-in gas range and refrigerator that has enough space to cook whatever you desire! No need to lug around your stand alone cooktop or induction range! We loved the pretty copper backsplash, and there is a perfect shelf for up to 18 herbs and spices! Opening the front door to incredible views and cooking yourself a meal is one of the greatest feelings! Sink comes with a hose sprayer, which is so necessary! Countertops are all made from butcher block, which is very easy to sand down and restore if desired. There’s a folding leaf countertop extension, and a butcher block insert for the sink so you can have even more space and cover up all of your dirty dishes that you’ll inevitably lug around! Electrical: Equipped with a 100% off grid electrical set-up. 300 W of Renogy nearly invisible-from-the-street flexible solar panels and a 20 A Renogy DC-DC charger come together to juice up two 100 Ah Renogy Lithium house batteries equipped with bluetooth. A 1000 W inverter supplies 110 power to wall and garage outlets (for the essential exterior Margarita Bar). All electrical components and connectors are Blue Seas marine grade products. Wiring is Ancor marine grade stranded copper wire. The 12 V system supplies power to dimmable LED lights, USB chargers, fridge, and other essential appliances. Water: 20 gallon water tank provides enough for us to comfortably boondock for days! Water filter connects to a hose at a city water fillup so all of the water is filtered, with additional filtration for the drinking water faucet. We’re always mind blown with how good the water tastes, no matter the source! There is also a Fogatti brand water heater that you can use for dishes or a shower! A 13 gallon under-mounted gray water tank that you empty from inside the van is just as easy as the push of a button! Windows: We’re super happy with the windows on the van!! There is so much natural light from every direction, and the passenger side window opens up for additional air flow. Each of the windowsills is deep enough to use as a shelf. All windows are tinted and very difficult to see in from outside. Movies / TV: We didn’t forget about this staple comfort! There are 3 different locations where you can put out the big screen and watch your favorite show, or have movie night with the back doors open and the ocean breeze on your skin, with the sound of seals orking in the background. Nevermind their smell! Don’t forget the popcorn! When’s the last time you had Jiffy Pop! Feel like a kid again in VWNN! Heater / Insulation: We never installed an air conditioner, as part of the joy of living in a van is being able to travel to perfect climates!! We were always comfortable with our MaxxAir fan over the bed for a nice breeze at nighttime. The van is very well insulated with Havelock Wool, and has a diesel heater that can heat up the entire space in no time!! We’ve slept in temperatures as low as 15 degrees, and were still comfortable! Reach out to me to discuss more, set up a viewing, or make an offer!
