Seller's Description
2007 MERCEDES/DODGE 2500 HIGH ROOF CONVERTED SPRINTER VAN!!!! 144" wheelbase. 43,999K. All reasonable offers will be considered. No seller financing. I am happy to answer any questions but won't be able to set up any showings on the van until March 24th in Oakland, CA. The VIN is Dodge but this is one of the year's where the body, engine, etc. of Dodge and Mercedes are exactly the same and the van has all Mercedes branding on the exterior. I LOVE MY VAN and have meticulously maintained her but it's time for me to part with JUNE (that's her name). I have never seen this unique, murphy bed van build out on the 144 inch wheelbase in any other van. I've loved how functional this van is to travel in as well as use for various purposes. This van has character! The cab is separated from the back and I think it feels like sleeping in a tiny, Scandinavian apartment. For those of you who know sprinters, 2007 is a very desirable year and, if maintained properly, the engine will run to at least 300,000 miles (some say 500,000...most say 400,000). This is a turn key van that's ready to hit the road and is in excellent shape for this year/mileage. The van was custom built by a friend in LA. I had a 100 point inspection at top Sprinter mechanic in Seattle in December 2023 Brand new front brakes Like new tires MILEAGE - 113,500 TITLE - Clean ****** FEATURES ******* FULL SIZED MURPHY BED WITH BRAND NEW MORGEDAL FOAM IKEA MATTRESS ($269) - PLEASE NOTE THAT PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WITH MY FORMER MATTRESS WHICH WAS TOO THICK FOR THE MURPHY BED DESIGN TO FUNCTION PERFECTLY - I HAVE REPLACED IT WITH THE RIGHT SIZE (BRAND NEW) SO THAT THE BACK OF THE COUCH DOESN'T LEAN FORWARD (the murphy bed design is great b/c you can come in back door or side door and it allows you to travel with bikes, surf boards, kayaks, etc. inside the van if needed. I've actually had 3 kayaks inside the van and have used the van to transport king mattresses, etc. I am not sure why everyone doesn't build them out with the murphy bed because it makes the van so much more functional. If you are stuck at a trail head in a blizzard, the bed goes away and you can play games, eat, etc. in the dining/work area (i.e. the bed doesn't take up half the van). FULL KITCHEN W/ DESIGNER FAUCET AND BUTCHER BLOCK COUNTER - LARGE WATER TANK (I don't know exact gallons but it's much larger than most vans I've seen...pictured in pics...is stored under bench of couch and you fill with hose on exterior of van) - 2 BURNER BUILT IN PROPANE STOVE - CUSTOM UTENSIL DRAWER (COOKWARE INCLUDED) - SOLAR FRIDGE - The fridge runs 24 hrs/day whether or not the inverter is on - XL KITCHEN FARM SINK with drying rack that fits across sink - I've never seen another sink this size in a sprinter and I think it's amazing. It's great to store dirty dishes while driving if you don't have time to do them at camp. POP UP DINING/WORK STATION CUSTOM COUCH 2, 90 WATT SOLAR PANELS - PLENTY OF OUTLETS UNDER MOUNT LED LIGHTING SCREEN WINDOW THAT OPENS ON SLIDING DOOR SO YOU CAN GET GREAT CROSS VENTILATION WITH CEILING FAN CEILING FAN TONS OF STORAGE - BEDDING STORES ABOVE CAB - STORAGE UNDERNEATH CUSTOM COUCH AND TONS OF CABINETS BAMBOO FLOORS GIANT JACK WHICH IS MOUNTED IN BACK SO IT'S OUT OF THE WAY LIGHT BAR REAR CAM FUNCTIONALITY TO JUMP ENGINE OFF OF SOLAR - THIS IS SUPER USEFUL - I'VE ONLY USED IT ONCE BUT IT SAVED ME AS I WAS IN REMOTE AREA KILL SWITCH TO PROTECT VAN IF YOU ARE IN CITY, ETC. IT KILLS ALL POWER SO VAN CANNOT BE JUMPED AND STOLEN BLUE TOOTH STEREO PLEASE NOTE - NO BUILT IN HEATER IN THE BACK OF THE VAN (HEAT AND A/C UP FRONT WHEN DRIVING WORKS GREAT) BUT A DIESEL HEATER COULD EASILY BE ADDED UNDER PASSENGER SEAT. I purchased a propane heater that I never installed that I am including with purchase. I am also including a Mr. Buddy Propane Heater, a small electric heater and an electric, heated mattress pad which is what I use on cold nights. 5 GAL BUCKET W TOILET LID FITS IN WATER PUMP CABINET BRAND NEW SCREEN KIT FOR REAR DOORS ($500 - I purchased it for summer travel but have never used it. It's brand new and still in packaging) EXTRA GAS CAN INSTALLED ON BACK EXTRA STORAGE BOX ON BACK THAT HAS SHOVEL, JUMP KIT, WATER HOSE, ETC. The mileage is super low and I have done everything to make this a turn key van that is ready to hit the road. I can answer more questions but here is some useful information: - I moved from CO in June of 2023. The van was maintained by the same shop in CO during my ownership and I have all of the records from this shop and most other records. - To make it easy for buyer, I paid $200 to Stone's Sprinter Service in Seattle to do an 100 point inspection on the van. This is normally what a potential buyer would pay for. This is an objective shop that specializes in Sprinter Vans and my van has never been to them before. They said they almost never see a Sprinter that is this clean and they are happy to answer any questions for potential buyers. I am happy to share inspection report. The only minor issues they found (which I knew about prior) were 2 minor oil leaks which are more than common for Sprinters (mechanic said they are pretty much guaranteed in these two spots). I have had my eye on them for some time and have never had any issues or lost significant oil. They can be fixed but mechanic agreed that they are not an issue for safety/driving. - While being inspected, I had all fluids topped off and tire pressure checked. There are thousands of miles left before oil change is needed. I also replaced bulb in headlight. - The front brakes had approximately 6 months of life left on them but I just went ahead and replaced them so there are BRAND NEW front brakes (the brakes last a LONG time on these vans). ($800) - The tires are like new 12/32 on front and 13/32 on back ($900) - I have never had any major mechanical issues with van but did do a major repair 3/22/2023 where I replaced the entire air conditioning kit because the air compressor failed. I also replaced the drive belt, water pump drive belt, drive belt idler pulley and assembly at the same time. ($3,496.61) Like I said, I have most records but these are just recent investments in the van. The van has always had regular oil changes, frequent inspections and tires rotated on time. I have never been in an accident in the van but it has been through two hail storms (which is hard to avoid in Colorado). I have all of the body work records. PLEASE REACH OUT WITH ANY QUESTIONS. THANK YOU.
