Seller's Description

Testing the waters, this camper van will be available around February 2024. I lived in this van with my wife for almost 3.5 years without any issues, and it's comfortable. I built this camper van with my wife in 2020. It was a regular cargo van with no windows/fans or insulation. The Vehicle: Freightliner 2013 Sprinter Van 170 WB Diesel V6 - 238k miles We have 2 LED bars—one large one on top and a smaller one at bumper level (see in pics). You can turn them on from the cabin. Back-up Camera with Digital Rear View Mirror All shocks were replaced 3k miles ago. 60% life on BFGOODRICH ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 The Camper Side: Full Bathroom with Shower: Nature's Head Compose toilet Cold and Hot water in the shower (electric water heater installed under the bed) Kitchen: Propane 2 Stove burner (tank under the sink) Sink with cold water only (will add hot water lines before selling) 3 Stage water filter next to the sink 12v Fridge - Dometic CRX 50T The kitchen countertop has an expandable/foldable extension to make it bigger 2 drawers, 1 for spices, and one for utensils 2 cabinets on top Desk/Computer: The desk on the other side of the kitchen was for my computer, and I even had a record player under it (there’s a lid that lifts on that desk where you can store a laptop or, in my case, a record player). On that desk, you have USB C ports available. There was a monitor and 2 speakers mounted on that wall; I will probably remove that and just leave the wall clean. Bed: (No mattress will be available since we all have different preferences) This section will be modified before selling. We are 5’5”, so the bed is not that big; planning to make an extension so it can fit a bigger mattress (we used to sleep sideways; someone taller will have to sleep the other way probably). Will replace the wood panel where the mattress rests for something more breathable. The closet area in the bed will be removed to make the space bigger. (We used to hit our knees there when we started living in the van; we got used to it, but in our experience, having that area open will feel better. There’s a projector that we put in there (this will be installed and sold with the van, not in the pictures at the moment). Electrical: 4x100Ah Battleborn batteries (best lithium batteries in the market) Victron 3000w Inverter/Charger (there’s a plug under the van to plug into shore for charging or using electricity) 3x170w solar panels Victron Smart Charger from the alternator (when the engine is running you 30amps that charge your lithium batteries) Bluetooth module so you can turn on/off the inverter and monitor the electric system. This electric system is phenomenal for full living; I am a video editor and used to run my computer for at least 6 hours every day at night. Water system: 33-gallon fresh water tank, outside plug for filling - 12v automatic pump (will turn on as soon as you open any faucet or water valve) 2.5-gallon hot water heater (electric); it usually heats the water in 5-6 minutes during winter. We put a timer that turns off/on the heater so you don’t use more power than you need. 27-gallon gray water tank under the van; it has an electric valve so you can open the tank without getting out or under the van. Shower has good pressure when showering. - In our experience as a couple, our fresh water lasted about a week with both taking showers and doing dishes. (In the Vanlife way, short showers and trying to be as efficient as possible). We have 2 extra water containers (6 gallons each) that we use as extra water, and sometimes it’s easier to fill those in random places than filling the actual big tank (unless you are at a place that has a water hose next to the street). Four water containers usually fill almost the big tank. The Garage (or space under the bed): Is where the water system, electrical system, and water heater are located; everything is easily accessible in case you need to fix something. We used to carry bicycles in this area (designed to carry 2 bikes on a slider platform), but we actually carried most of the time 4 bikes (gravel bikes). We are going to make it look nice before selling but not too different from what it is; we will probably replace the beams that hold the bed so it doesn't have any supports in the middle, and the space feels bigger and functional. Roof Deck (need to add pictures): There’s a roof deck we built for amazing sunsets, morning coffee, or to get some sun a pack beach (no ladder installed, we used to climb there when we have the side door opened). 3 toolboxes attached to the deck for extra storage Has an antenna for LTE 12v router inside the van, (will be included when selling; you need to get the internet service, I can tell you how; it is unlimited at around $90/monthly on T-Mobile Network) Miscellaneous (I keep updating this): 1 Maxxair Fan 1 small window next to the bed (perfect for air intake when the fan is on) Sliding door has a big window with one section that opens We have custom magnetic window covers for all the windows of the van Diesel Heater: it is harder to deal with heat than with cold; you can be in shorts and a t-shirt inside during winter if you are running the heater. Feel free to ask whatever you want. I can take pictures upon request, and I'll keep adding more details as I remember them.
