Matilda Description I’m selling Matilda, my cross-country Tiny Home! This awesome van is an 89’ Ford Okanagan, a Class B RV that has been enjoyed and maintained meticulously over the course of 3 owners. While I am sad to see her go, I know that someone else will get a lot of enjoyment from her. She is turn-key ready and runs great! The updates I’ve made over the past six months: -new belts -new all terrain tires -new starter battery -fixed cab A/C and heat, which now work like a charm -Brand new ROOF! With the help of a master carpenter, we ripped the old roof off due to leaks over the years, removed and replaced all rotten wood, built a completely new frame, insulated the entire structure, and skinned it with fiberglass panels. Now not only are there no leaks, but this structure was gutted, rebuilt, and sealed! -12v fridge -a cable that was run from the alternator to the on-board battery so my battery bank is charged as I drive! -200 Watts of solar which recharge the on-board battery -a 12V fridge which operates on and off-grid without the need to plug into shore power -water tank plumbed to sink and shower -A/C in back works wonderfully (must plug into shore power or generator) -working shower -portable toilet -lots of storage and shelving -108k miles Now, onto some minor fixes to be addressed as you see fit. Despite Matilda being in phenomenal shape for her age, she would benefit from some of your TLC: -there is a very slow oil leak, which most likely needs a new gasket -the propane water heater has been finicky and needs to be taken to a propane technician to see if new lines or fittings need to be installed -the switch from front to rear gas tank is also finicky and should be looked at -gas gauge does not work -small windshield crack I will be completing cosmetic and minor fixes on Matilda until she sells and will be updating photos and description as I go. I have lived in her on the road for seven months, from Tennessee to New Mexico and had the time of my life! I have just decided that I don’t love doing vanlife alone and really don’t love driving that much! This van drives super smooth on the highway and in town and the cruise control works like a charm! I am 5’10” and comfortably fit in the loft bed over the cab. It’s where I slept every night, although the couch pulls out into a comfortable bed for two, so you have that as an option! Additionally, I have a 3500W Predator inverter generator that I am willing to throw in for an extra $600. I bought it for $900 and have only used it for three months. It works so well and is a super quiet model. It just sounds like a car engine while running which is perfect for more crowded camp sites. It runs the A/C with no issues. I kept it on a hitch carrier which I will throw in for free. This van has been well taken care of by me and the previous owners. The owner before me gutted the cabinets and shelving that the van came with and rebuilt everything to provide much more storage. I have put a lot of love into Matilda in the forms of time, labor, and money. I am asking $15,200, a price which would reflect the work that I have put in, but I encourage you to shoot me an offer! Motivated to sell!
