We have done this to run in city water mode (constant supply) or when filling tanks for dry camping (boondock prep while maintaining internal temperature of van). Also, it's smart: The generator will automatically turn off when the van's fuel level reaches 1/4 which prevents you from long walks with a gas can, This rad van is a great way to adventure and less to deal with than pulling a separate trailer.
