Seller's Description
Are you looking for a van that can take you on long road trips, without costing 75K+ for a Sprinter? Look no further. Selling my beloved camper van, a 1997 Dodge Ram B2500. I built this van from the ground up for a climbing trip in 2019 and have been using it for weekend trips ever since. Sadly, I don't use it enough anymore, and am looking to find a new home where it will be well-loved. It is an older van, but has tons of life and adventure left in it. Major features - -200W solar system w/inverter, charger, battery - Wood countertop and sink - 2x 7 gallon drinking water tanks - 5-gallon grey water tank - ample storage space - Privacy curtains - Fold-down full size bedframe - Maxxair deluxe fan - Cork floor I've taken careful care of this van, and have never had any major issues. With regards to maintenance, I've had a lot of work done on the van, but it has all been precautionary. All maintenance has occurred within the last 10-20k miles. This includes - - Full transmission replacement - Installed aftermarket transmission cooler - Replaced drive belt tensioner and serpentine belt - Replaced water pump - Replaced radiator - Replaced engine control computer - Replaced ignition switch - Replaced fuel pump - Replaced brake master cylinder head and reservoir - Replaced coolant hoses - Regular oil changes, cooling system flush, differential fluid exchanges as recommended in owner's manual Things to fix/improve - - this is an older vehicle. It has a few dings and scratches. There is one larger cosmetic dent/paint scratch down the side doors (pictured). There are paint chips present on hood, and across the vehicle. It definitely looks like an older vehicle from the outside, but I have put a lot of TLC into making the inside comfortable. - A/C doesn't currently work. Might just need a recharge. I never pursued as the installed fan and windows met my needs. - One side mirror is cracked - Fuse/connection for dash lights needs fixing For the right buyer, this will be a great starting point for a camper van build. Thanks for looking.
