Seller's Description

TAKING OFFERS It's with a heavy heart that I'm putting my beloved travel companion, The Vintage Voyager, up for sale. This 1985 Chevy G20 Conversion Van is ready to take on the open road and continue its van life adventures with a new owner. In the short time I've had it, we've covered 25,000 miles, taking the odometer from 135,000 to 155,000 since I purchased it in March. This van has lived its entire life in Arizona, so you can rest easy knowing it's rust-free underneath and in excellent shape for its age. The Vintage Voyager is a true beast and should easily last until 400k or so miles, especially with its brand new transmission replacement, 4 new premium Firestone tires, shiny new break caliper, new starter and battery, and all the upgrades I've done this summer during my van life journey. I've had the pleasure of exploring 24 of the 50 states, traversing both West and East coasts and the diverse American terrains. From the Canadian border down to the Tijuana border, exploring from the Pacific Northwest through the Midwest and across to the Carolinas, and finally down to Tampa, Florida where I am selling the van. It has been quite the journey of courage and self-discovery. I hope the next owner enjoys this big blue vintage van the way I have, and that its wheels continue to roll down the many more roads of this beautiful country! Here are some key features and updates: - Unique conversion built to last with real wood cabinets and hardwood flooring - 5.7L 8 -cyl, 155k miles, no rust, high top conversion with bed, 9feet tall! - Custom atlas map wood ceiling for a unique touch - Standable high top van – fits up to 6'4 height on the longest part - Sleeps 3-4 with a fold out bench and a pull out bed up top that becomes a Full bed with a custom fold-out mattress - Custom upholstery, window screens, and window covers throughout the van - Built in sink, custom kitchen counter, and tons of storage space throughout the van - 5-gallon gasoline tank filled with fuel to the brim! and coolant - Everything you need for solar power (except the solar panel, as mine flew off the van on the interstate) - Maxx AirMax Fan with remote installed in ceiling ($300 value) - 100 AH LiFePO4 Deep Cycle 12v Lithium battery, only a month old ($280 Value) - 500 watt inverter with 2 AC ports ($180 value) - 12,000 Amp portable charging station with 12V power, jump-start, and AC power ($200 value) - Sanitized Portable porta-potty with 100 flushes, porta-pax tank deodorizer included ($220 value) - 4 Premium brand Firestone tires driven <1000 miles ($800 ish value, still paying off with firestone program) - Brand new transmission rebuilt April 2023 and new break caliper June 2023 - Oil changed 200 miles ago - Built-in outlets on the counters - Magnetics on the cabinets to keep drawers shut while driving - 2 stove burners for cooking and varies kitchen and cleaning supplies - Small propane tank - Assortment pack of fuses and connectors to get your system up and working - Puck lights on the ceiling of the van I've reduced the price by a grand because I don't have time for a few fixes: (open to offers) - Window crack (see pictures) – it doesn’t obstruct the view so i’ve driven it as so and most insurance should cover it - Top window crack – it has a sealed plexiglass crack, and I've had no leaks. was quotes $150 to fix - Speedometer works but the fuel gauge does not (bought it this way and never got around to fixing it) The van has a 32 gallon tank but i just fill gas every 200 miles to be safe. Longest i’ve driven without getting gas was about 4 hours. The 5 gallon emergency tank is great for just incase! - Van is due for front end maintenance: shocks, alignment, wheel rotation, air and fuel filter clean, breaks and bearings are okay. (Can send full firestone inspection done last month) Van just got an oil change and my firestone program covers all this but they were to backed up to fit me in schedule for a couple weeks Looking to sell it ASAP as my apartment lease has already started and i’m currently staying at an airbnb. Currently in the Tampa Florida area, but I'll be heading to the Midwest, so I'm open to meeting a buyer anywhere semi on the way. First come, first served. Give me an offer!
