Introducing Sally the Solis, our trusty camper. We spent several months searching for the perfect family van to make our dream of using our parental leave for travelling come true - and Sally has delivered! If you're looking for a family van that seats and sleeps 4 safely and comfortably, this van is for you. Van History: Sally is a 2021 Winnebago that we purchased from her only previous owner in January 2023. She was in like new condition at the time, with the previous owners having clocked only 9,000 miles and barely used the interior features. Since January, we have taken her on local trips around the Pacific Northwest prior to and after the birth of our daughter. Since September, we have been slowly making our way through the western states and will be parting company with Sally in California before returning to the UK for good. She's road tested with 18,000 miles on the clock currently. She's still in excellent condition inside and out, and we've had no mechanical issues at all. Her most recent service in August gave her a clean bill of health. NOTE: We are currently travelling in the van, and anticipate the mileage will increase to approximately 23,000 by the end of our trip. Interior: There are plenty of youtube video tours and descriptions of the Solis model out there. This is the Murphy bed model, which lets a 6'2" tall person sleep downstairs, and provides multiple additional different types of storage including under-floor storage. Some folks keep the bed folded up and use the walk-through space for bikes or other large kit - we keep the bed down but still find the storage easy to access. The pop top provides a second large sleeping space, and has barely been used. Kitchen has fridge, stove, and sink, with some handy features like an extra pull out worktop and hot water cycle to save water. Bathroom features an easy-to-empty cassette toilet and a hot-water shower. There are two additional hot-water shower outlets for outdoor showers too! The cab seats swivel to create a dinette area with a table that tucks away during travel. Bug nets on the sliding door and rear doors keep your home from home bite-free. The interior is in great condition. A couple of minor known imperfections: 1) the cabinet door under the sink has warped slightly, so is no longer flush with the other door; 2) missing magnet on bottom of bathroom door. Neither affect functionality. 3) the rivets holding the side cushion in place while the murphy bed is up have rusted through. Should be an easy fix, just hasn't been a priority for us as we keep the bed down. Exterior/ chassis: Ram Promaster 2500 model. A great drive, sliding passenger side door, and rear doors that open 270 degrees for an expansive view of your epic campsite. Bodywork is in great condition. A couple of known minor imperfections: 1) chip in paintwork on edge of passenger side door, see photo; 2) small scuff to rear bumper; 3) very very small scratch on rear door; 4) small chip on the hood from a road rock. Extras: We only purchased this van for our travels this fall, and are moving back to the UK. We will therefore include any or all of the following if the buyer wants them (totaling about $1000 cost): levelling blocks (10), safety equipment including flare lights, emergency blankets etc., all hoses for dump, fill, shower etc., shore power cable, storage bags for all cables/ hoses to keep things tidy and sanitary, air compressor to keep tires safe, height-adjustable folding camp table, full kitchen equipment, cabinet storage solutions.
