Seller's Description

Selling my beloved camper van... It's a sad day for me but hopefully a happy one for you. Long description incoming, I want to lay it all out on this post so there is minimal confusion. UPDATE: I raised the price from $33k to $38k because I'm getting way too many messages to keep track of. I'll still be listening to offers below $38k but as of now the bar is raised higher than $33k so please help me out and keep the lowballing to a minimum! Thanks Here are the vehicle specs: This is a 2006 T1N 158" wheelbase Dodge-Mercedes Sprinter (A collaboration between the two companies, but everything is made by Mercedes, it was just sold to the US under the Dodge nameplate). LOW MILES: 128,000 These are original miles. It was a DHL delivery van which is highly sought-after because of their abidance to optimal maintenance schedules It has an extremely reliable 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine. This particular year is known to be the most reliable of all Sprinters. These vans are expected to run past 500k if treated right. These are also known to have the best gas mileage and cheapest to maintain. I have travelled in it for 3 years off and on and it has taken me all throughout the United States, all the way down to the tip of Baja California, and throughout 10 different countries in Western Europe (that's right, I shipped it!). Through all these adventures, it NEVER left me stranded- an absolute workhorse of machinery. I've treated it well and have obsessively stayed up to date with maintenance schedules. Has a small dent in the slider door due to someone backing into me 3 weeks ago. Camper build specs: -300W Rennogy solar on roof -300 Amp hours deep cycle batteries -MaxAir 10 speed fan -Wool insulation -Butyl sound deadening mat to reduce vibration -Diesel heater -Queen size width bed, length is a little over 6ft -2 burner propane stove -ICECO 68.7QT VL65 Dual Zone Freezer/Refrigerator -LOADS of storage with 6 large dresser style drawers, closet, kitchen drawers, "garage" area under bed, and a surfboard/gear storage cavern that runs from the garage through the underside of the bed and fridge cabinet- can fit multiple surfboards or a surfboard up to 9'6" in length (or whatever other gear you'd like to haul) -8 LED warm white overhead lights -I used to have a cassette toilet for it but I threw it out because I preferred using public restrooms or going in the wild— to each their own! You could buy one for ~$150 on Amazon -I have a propane water heater for showering but I haven’t used it in a long time so it’s not currently set up. Easy fix if you’re looking to have an everyday shower. Ask me about it if you’re curious Also wanted to mention that there is a partition door separating the driver's cab from the living area. This door locks with a padlock which is absolutely essential for the safety of you and your belongings. Thieves target campervans and are attracted when they see that all they need to do is break a window to enter the living area and steal your belongings. I always felt safe sleeping in the van and leaving it for the night in any city I was in (Paris, Barcelona, Prague, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, etc.) On that note, it also has pretty stealthy exterior meaning that most people can't tell that it is a campervan from the outside. This gives you the option to street-camp in high-traffic areas without being detected by police or thieves. This is an epic buildout designed and built by myself and my old woodshop teacher. I took a gap year from Chapman University during COVID to build this van and travel in it. Travelling in this van was the best decision I have ever made, all it took was a leap of faith. I hope to pass this van off to a responsible owner who is ready to take that same leap! I am selling because I put my whole life savings into this van and just graduated college so I need my money back to step into the real world! Priced to sell quick. Don't hesitate to reach out and come see it, I will be selling first come first serve!
