Seller's Description
2003 Chevy Astro Van I'm selling my 2003 Chevy Astro Camper Van. Low miles, high stoke. If it at all interests you make me an offer, all offers will be entertained. I’m leaving the state by mid November. Everything works well, I've had zero issues with the interior and mechanically minimal issues, only regular maintenance items. Before me there was one previous owner and the van served as a retired woman’s grocery grabber. I’ve driven her across the country five times with plenty of excursions along the way as I never drove in a straight line for long. Lived in Florida most of its life, now in California. I’m selling this van after living in her for three years because I’m spending the next couple winters in CO. Build Out Features: - 200w 12V Renogy Solar Monocrystalline Kit (Includes solar charge controller, factory mounting hardware, and compatible wiring) -215Ah of deep cycle battery capacity - Battery Isolator to allow house battery to charge via alternator -Charge converter for shore power plug in charging - Maxxair 5100k Fan - Dometic 12V Fridge with enough capacity for about a weeks worth of food -Diesel heater (used it down to 0°F in comfort) -Pull out bed/couch that converts from a twin to full size memory foam mattress - Tons of custom built shelving, using as much dead space as physically possible - Tow package Mechanical Fixes/Upgrades: All were done since I got the van in Dec 2019 by either myself or a family mechanic in Florida. I've kept up maintenance, having it inspected before leaving for long trips and upon return. Replaced/Repaired: - Fresh tune up (Spark plugs, wires, and distributor) -Radiator -Motor mounts -Thermostat -Serpentine belt -Turn signal assembly -Exhaust leak repairs -AC leaks repaired and recharged within last 6 months. Then compressor died and I haven’t gotten around to fixing it. -New all season tires with America's Tires warranty at ~134,000 (snow chains, too) -New brakes (pads, rotors, and rear calipers) at 125,000 -Fresh shocks (front & rear) at 95,000mi -Idler arms -Front wheel bearing assembly -Mass Air Flow Sensor Plus I’m sure I’m forgetting some things. It’s a 20 year old car so it’s not perfect, minor cosmetic issues and drives like a mini van. The 4.3L V6 engine in these is bulletproof, it’s a reliable ride and fully ready to be lived and traveled in. I’d drive it across the country tomorrow.
