The vehicle is a 2011 diesel Sprinter 2500 fully built out van with 193,090 miles that has been well-maintained, runs reliably, and is in excellent mechanical condition. It has been driven all around the country from the east coast to the west coast and back, while traveling and staying along backcountry national forest and bureau of land management roads, with no issues. The van was built out with a focus on cooking and preparation space in the kitchen area and room for storage. It was primarily designed for the less extreme seasons (Spring and Fall) and is most comfortable then; however, it has been lived out of full time for two years in a variety of different climates. In other words, it could be a full-time live-in van, or it could be a seasonal/weekend warrior recreational vehicle for avid climbers, hikers, and travelers alike. Asking price is $26,000 OBO. Additionally, the van features a 2200w 120v Giandel sine wave power inverter for all of your more power-hungry typical household appliances (e.g. hair straightener, microwave). All major appliances are isolated with a circuit breaker in the electrical cabinet and small appliances contain in-line fuses. Power generation for this system consists of solar and shore power, with the ability to add an alternator charger if desired. Shore power can run off any 120v power such as an outlet from a house or camping spot, or a generator when in remote locations. The solar generation consists of four Renogy 100w solar panels mounted on the roof rack running through a Victron 100V MPPT solar charge controller before entering the system for a total of 400w peak solar power generation. The battery bank consists of two (2) LiTime 12v 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries with a Renogy battery monitor mounted near the bed for convenience. Kitchen and Living Area The kitchen area contains an Atwood Dometic propane range with 3 burners (one 9,000 and two 6,500 BTUs) and oven, a Ruvati workstation sink that is 10” deep with a basket strainer drain and removable cutting board that transforms the sink into extra counter space, a 36q compact refrigerator, a large workspace butcher block made of white oak with California redwood inlays, a cabinet, a pots/pans drawer and utensil drawer. The kitchen features some storage and there is additional ample storage beneath the bed in the garage area. The water system consists of the sink in the kitchen area, a SHURFLO 3.0 GPM self-priming water pump, a 25-gallon freshwater tank, and an Eccotemp L5 1.5 GPM tankless water heater. The tankless hot water heater is only connected to the shower, so when hot dish sink water is required for cleaning boiling water on the stove is the primary way. The hot water heater is mounted in the back of the van in the garage near the propane tank and the shower head is mounted on a shelf on the backdoor. The shower was designed to be used with the back doors open out of the back of the van. A standard shower curtain can easily be put up with magnets for privacy. The propane system consists of the range, the hot water heater, and a 20 lb standard grill tank, which is housed at the rear of the van. Behind the kitchen lies the bed, which is a slightly shortened full size 5” thick memory foam mattress measuring 54” wide by 68” long. Exterior The van has 5k tow capacity standard tow hitch that can haul a trailer or vehicle. The outside of the van is in relatively good shape and has been in no major accidents. The windows are tinted and the issues with the paint are minor cosmetic defect in the form of several rust spots. They are small and an auto paint shop would be able to fix all of the blemishes. Items Included with van: Custom Mercedes sprinter sun guards for windshield and driver/passenger side windows included. Box with many spare parts related to initial build out and install for fixing small issues. Matching paint for cabinets and shelves. There is no bathroom installed in the van, but if that is important to you we can coordinate installing a composting toilet as part of the purchase of the van.
