Great opportunity for a fully built out, off-road, Japanese, 4x4 camper van with all the goodies at a low price. No rot/rust. A deer ran into the side of the van recently causing the right side body panel to be significantly damaged. Insurance did not want to fix it. Unfortunately am selling for much less than expected. The van is perfectly drivable nothing in terms of structure is affected. Only cosmetic. You could probably pull the dents out a good bit if you spent some time on it or buy a parts rig and replace the panel (I can give you resources where you can find one). This van will probably go another 200,000 if you treat it right. It’s a badass machine that can go places the average van cannot. I had a 2.5 inch iron man lift kit with Airlift Airbags installed to support the weight of the build. Recently had front and back brakes replaced. Tires are in decent shape. Oil always changed every 3,000 miles. I built out this van entirely by myself in 2021. Originally purchased from Northeast Auto Imports in Hudson, NH. The van came completely stock. I did the entire build from scratch. Used 3/4 birch plywood and insulation for the subfloor, and a rubber diamond vinyl for the top. Built all cabinets from random wood I found at the lumbers stores in the area at the time. Finished everything with a danish oil. It has a sailboat vibe on the interior in terms of shape and aesthetic. My intention for the layout was to create a functioning, livable, space in a small van such as the Delica. For a small space, it has a good bit of creature comforts. The sink is a deep 15x15x10 bar sink with a gusher galley mk3 double action foot pump. 10 gallons of fresh water storage. I ran a tube through the floor with a check valve so you can dump straight out. The galley also has an extra flip out table for cooking/eating. Perfect height for any portable stove. The bed is convertible slat bed with storage underneath. I had the cushions custom made in San Diego at a professional upholstery shop. They have a flap with Velcro to stick them together when in bed mode to prevent cushions separating during sleep. I see people have this problem a lot and wanted to do something unique for the sake of a good nights rest. It’s only a twin sized bed, but it is very comfortable. Thick, high density, upholstery foam, with removable cushions made from a high quality vinyl material. As far as the solar/electrical system goes. It couldn’t be a more perfect setup for this van. I created it myself from scratch and made sure to do thorough and safe job. I made sure to keep in mind ease of access, circuit isolation, and ease of maintainance. Making sure as well that everything stays working at peak capacity. It’s has worked incredibly from the first time turning it on all the way to present moment. You have 200a of lithium battery storage, a 1000w pure sine wave solar inverter charger with transfer switch, 40a dc to dc charger, and 400w of solar. Most of the breakers and fuses used are blue sea systems. I installed a GPS Bob tracking device hidden inside the van so it can be tracked at any time from the app on your phone. It has a lot of specific information in the app about the van, where exactly it has driven each day, the times it was at each location, how fast your were going, etc. This would absolutely come in clutch if it was ever stolen and not something everyone considers. For interior lighting, I installed multi color LED strip lights and puck lights in the ceiling that are on a dimmer switch. Also have exterior LED flood lights on both sides of the van and the back (for the back table). I will list down below all the components in the system. -Ampere Time 200a LiFePO4 Battery w/self heating function -MPP Solar 1000w Pure Sine Solar Inverter Charger with 40a MPPT and transfer switch with shore power -40a Renogy DC-DC Charger -AiLi Battery Monitor w/ 350a shunt -2x 200w Rich Solar Panels -Scanstrut DS Multi Cable Entry Gland -Blue Sea Systems Fuse Block Work that the van needs of right now: -The horn has been an issue. Had all new wiring installed when I first bought it and it worked for a while. Not anymore though. -The AC compressor needs to be replaced along with the rear AC unit. I already have the replacement rear AC unit which is an expensive part. Will include with the sale of the vehicle. -The DC-DC charger seems to put a strain on the battery and I don’t use it much. You could probably find a more powerful alternator to install to fix this. The solar usually has the battery topped up so I haven’t gotten around it. Listing for 15,000 and seeing who is interested. I’m not necessarily in a rush to sell. Though, if you make a good cash offer I’d be willing to negotiate to a number that makes sense for us both.
