Seller's Description
Mileage:267700 M MPG: 15 city/19 hwy Transmission:Manual Engine:2.5L 5 Cylinder Trim:MV Weekender Selling my beloved 1993 VW Eurovan Weekender. I bought her in Bellingham 7 years ago, and we've shared many adventures over the years. I've driven as far east as Calgary, and west as Tofino, BC, and south as Moab. She has been a joy to drive and is in great condition for her next owners. You can always guarantee you'll get a compliment when you drive her. The van is a rare 5-speed, which is much more reliable than the automatics in these years, and has service history dating back longer than I've owned her. She is currently in "camping" mode, with the two jump seats removed, although they will come with the van. She runs great, as I just had the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt all replaced as a preemptive service. There are lots of extras that I've added or enhanced over the years: Keyless Entry (flip blade keys) Entire interior of the van has been removed, sound deadening insulation added to make the van quieter European Headlights and turn indicators, along with LED lights upgraded to 16" Alloy Wheels + full size spare and full size spare adaptor kit in rear from GoWesty Stud Kit Rotiva Tires (still under warranty) Custom center console built for extra storage (and to be used as a seat for our dog) custom magnet covers under rear seat to make it easy to reach the underseat storage Thule X2 bike rack for 2 bikes with Kuat swing away arm to make it convenient to get into the back of the vehicle with bikes in tow. All speakers replaced, and subwoofer added under the passenger seat Yakima Roof bars added professionally by Rack and Road in Seattle. Heavy duty gas struts added to the pop top and older pop mechanism removed to make it easier to pop the top. Dometic Fridge CFX28 that runs off the house battery (charges when driving) Twinkle lights to set the mood Front all weather mats from VW keep the interior clean Lots of spare parts including water pump, various switches, relays and fuses, idle stabilizer valve, brake pads, oil filters, etc -Spare ECU - AC runs cold and works great -touch up paint included -ladder from Go Westy Service History: I have kept as many receipts as I possibly could, although I'm sure I'm missing some from oil changes, etc. Every major service is accounted for; a folder with all the service receipts and documentation will come with the van, as will a link (via email) to the VW service manuals for this model and year. Done in last 6 months: Alternator fuel pump fuel filter fuel pressure regulator Coolant Temp Sensors (all 4 of them) Timing Belt & associated pulleys Water Pump Serpentine Belt Done in last year: Brakes New door seals New roller on rear sliding door She's not perfect, but she is adventure ready. Asking $15K OBO. Please reach out with any questions.
