Hello! Check out my converted camper van. I built it out with the intent to live in it full time. Fortunately I found the love of my life who came with two precious kiddos, we now all live together in our home and the van doesn’t quite accommodate all of us for our camping adventures. The van itself has been thoroughly inspected and doesn't have any detectable issues. I chose a diesel so I could install a diesel heater, which I did. It is the best type of heat, low moisture, uses very little energy and burns little diesel. I had a professional van conversion installer install the tap into the van’s tank, and I installed the actual unit. It blows nice and hot! It runs off a timer, not a thermostat, but one can be installed later. There is a 25 Gallon water tank inside, and a nearly 6 gallon hot water tank also inside. Both hot and cold water to the sink and to the shower with shut off valves to the shower for winter use and storage. There is a 2 liter expansion tank on the hot water side and a 2 liter pressure tank on the cold water side. The hot water tank is actually a calorifier. It is set up to connect it to the engine so that when the engine is running it heats the tank (for future completion). Currently I have it set up to run off the inverter and it heats the full hot water tank in 20 min. There are 4- 200 watt solar panels for a total of 800 watts, along with 2- 200 AMP hour Victron LiFePO4 Lithium batteries for a total of 400 AMP hours with a Victron 3000 Multiplus Inverter. All installed professionally and locally by Off Grid Solar. There are both 12V and 110V outlets. The only thing that doesn't run 12V (straight off the battery) is the induction stove top, the convection oven, two outlets, and the hot water heater has both 12V and 110V hook ups. Everything else runs off the battery, a Dometic refrigerator, all the overhead lights, exhaust fan, tiny constant AirHead toilet exhaust fan, AirConditioning unit, usb outlets, the water pump, and diesel heater. There is also a shore power inlet on the outside of the van, and I have run a wire to the front of the van for future installation of a switch to charge the batteries off the alternator when driving it. I primarily insulated with wool insulation from Wool Life. It is fully insulated, floor and ceiling included. The mattress is an Organic Avocado Twin mattress, I cut out some foam to add about 8 inches on the backside to accommodate a second person. There is a lot of storage, overhead, as well as a closet area, and a cabinet with three shelves for storage and extra countertop and seating area. I also built an "electronics storage shelf" with outlets in it to charge and store at the same time. I can provide a locking knob for future installation. The toilet is an Airhead composting toilet, it is comfortable, no odors, and composts quickly. There are some things that need to be completed which are: Minor finishing touches to painting the interior, the grey water tank (right now both the sink and the shower exit through a pipe outside the van to the ground. I have the tank, it's just not installed), and the push locking knobs for the cabinets. Registration is up Sept 30th 2023 I hope to have is sold ASAP!
