Seller's Description
2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Cargo · Driven 210,000 miles 170" High Roof Hello Everyone, me and my wife are selling our beautiful tiny home on wheels. It is a 170” Sprinter high roof TurboDiesel. Runs amazing and has been well maintained and a lot has been replaced to make this van run for years. We hate to sell it but we gave ourselves 6 months and we found a permanent home. We built it with working remotely in mind and as much storage as possible because we wanted to bring as much as possible for alot of different situations and for all of our outdoor activities. There is a pull out table and a pullout fridge. The is just considered a short queen. It is fully insulated with Thinsulate and Havelock Wool with extra around the bed just because we had extra. Its insulated on roof and on the floor. We also added soundeading all over. Storage: The long bench has 3 large compartments that we haven't even filled completely, The smaller bench seat curretly fits the toilet, There is a large garage that we store a ton in and still have space( For reference we have all of our camping/climbing/backpacking/tools/small raft/ large dog crate and extra things) also there is a pullout kitchen and when we arnt using this you can store things inside here. There are 6 upper cabinets in the van 2 above kitchen, 2 large ones for clothes above bed, smaller one and an open one. The kitchen has a pull out pantry, closet with 3 shelves along with pull out cabinets, We also built an overhead storage over the front seats. there is plenty of space for long term travel. Electrical: It has 350w of solar, 2-100ah lithium batteries, Victron MMPT Solar Charge controller and Victron Dc-Dc charger. S if your not familiar the main source of power is Solar but the DC-DC charger allows you to charge the batteries from the vans Alternator/battery so you have a back up power supply if its rainy or cloudy or whatever. ( Also we have not had to use the DC-Dc charge but a few times in our entire 6 month trip, the solar has provided tons of power) There is 2 usb and 2 standard outlets. A 1000Watt Inverter ( You can upgrade this to a 3000 if you plan on using more powerful kitchen items, We only used a small blender and plugged in laptops and small things so we didnt need a larger one. ) There is also a 12volt Iceco 45l fridge. There are 2 Max Air Fans also for maximum Air Flow. Plumbing: 21 gallons(3-7gal jugs) fresh water and 6gallon grey. I recommend getting another 6 gallon tank for extra grey waer so you can stay off grid for longer. No Hot water but we do have a solar shower that we will include and if left in the sun actually gets pretty warm. We mostly used planet fitness for showers. Things that we are including: Net gear nighthawk hotspot($300), Simply safe security System($300) and includes an outdoor camera, indoor camera, indoor motion sensor and indoor temp sensor, Glass break sensor and home base security system. A Portable Toilet. The Solar Shower, We also installed a Smart Rear View mirror that has front and back camera for backing up and for recording. We bought this van from a moving company right at 180k Miles so we made sure to replace anything that was bad mechanically or was going to go bad soon at around 200k miles. We knew we would be on alot of dispersed land and in the middle of nowhere so we didnt want to break down at all. We had our mechanic do a full in depth walk through and we replaced the following: New Starter, New power steering, New turbo parts, New brakes and rotors, New Air filter, New Gas Tank( There was a crack in the old one) 2 new AT tires. New Water Pump, Recent Transmission service and will need another in about 10k Miles, R&R Valve, Map Sensor, Fuel Filter, Change Over Valve, New Belts, R&R Hose,Belt Tensioner Assembly, And a couple other things but awaiting the receipt from mechanic. I have records for everything. We really hate to sell because we have had a blast visiting so many places and states. Our goal was to travelv6 months to a year to find places we might wat to settle down at and we found a permanent home possibly. The van is an awesome tiny home and no matter what your goals are your going to love it. It runs amazing and should run many many more years if maintained properly. Let me know if you have any questions id be glad to answer and we can deliver if need be to other states. Note: This was used for moving and is 2014 so there are some small dents on the exterior along with small scratches that come with a work van but not really noticeable unless up close. We bought the van with stealth camping in mind and therefore we left the moving decal on the side and didnt mind the small dents because we felt like it helped the look. It must have worked because we stealth camped in alot of big cities( Portland, Seattle, Redmond, Bend, Austin and more) and didnt get a knock even once. But obviously it can be removed if wished. There is also a Tow Hitch installed. Check out my wifes Instagram @haley_madiison for a video tour and photos of our trip in the van.
