Seller's Description
This fresh, clean converted Transit has only 62591 miles and plentiful solar power and storage. It has been carefully planned to give you all you need to be your comfortable, convenient travel home. I bought the van from Pacific Crest Adventure Vans in California in 2021. The electric system is powered by two 100 -watt solar panels run to a 1000 watt Jackery storage unit that supplies DC and AC power. This goes to electric panel with controls for the 6 LED ceiling lights with dimmer, the overbed reading lights, the remote-controlled, thermostatically controlled Maxi-Fan that lets you set the van temperature to exhaust the van in hot weather. The panel also controls the refrigerator/freezer, and a through-wall 110 electricity supply with internal outlets and underbed light. Scattered through the van are USB and DC ports. The van has a backup camera and a hitch (good for bike racks). In February '22, the van had its 60,000 mile transmission, rear differential, spark plugs, and fuel injector service. An oil check and a general inspection of the vehicle was done on June 15 this year. It has wood laminate flooring, grey storage cabinets underneath the wood slab countertops, a hammered brass sink with on-demand water and grey water capture (5 gallons each). The portable three-way electric refrigerator/ freezer sits at an easy-to-reach-into height and becomes a bedside table. The swivel passenger seat allows for relaxing and dining in the van. The platform bed has an 8" medium-firm foam mattress under which the storage is accessible from inside and outside. Its "sleeping bag" cover includes sheets that stay in place inside but are detachable for washing. The bag has one lighter and one heavier side so it is comfortable in most temperatures. It makes for easy bed-making in a clumsy space. There also is a portable toilet and a five gallon battery-operated shower for outdoor use. The van has removable window coverings, plastic boxes fitting the cabinet shelves, a propane-powered Buddy heater ( instant cabin heat), a small electric plug-in heater and a rotating electric fan. The fan and an electric coffee pot, (not included) can be run off solar by plugging into the Jackery. I have been retired now for 13 years and enjoyed taking my then-van all over the country. I expected to continue this with this van. My lifestyle has changed (I'm older and find I don't use the van as much used to.) I know whoever takes it will enjoy many miles and great settings in it.
