2001 Dodge 190 Versatile (2001D190V) for sale by owner. Built by Roadtrek in 2001 on a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 body. After almost 39,000 miles of enjoyable road trips, including a 2000-mile Florida to Vermont trip last fall, we have sadly decided to sell and spend most of the year in a warmer climate. We will keep lots of fond trip memories, ranging from the deserts and great National Parks of the Southwest, the warm beaches and campgrounds of Florida, the mountains and shores of the US east coast, the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Quebec and of course our back yard, the New England states. And with 97,444 miles on the odometer, there are surely many more memories to be made. It should be noted that our Roadtrek has been fitted with a steering stabilizer to improve handling, Michelin Defender tires now with 20,000 miles on them (lots of tread left), and a rebuilt transmission at 81,000 miles. It should also be noted that it does come with some ageing issues--what appears to be a common paint chip problem, a small dent on the right front fender, a rear side window that has been sealed closed, a non-functioning stove hood fan, a plugged floor drain and the storage area door now has a Gorilla Tape hinge, which works just fine. Our model does not have a generator, but does have a Fiamma awning and the following interior features: a microwave, air conditioner, 3-way refrigerator, two-burner propane stove and propane heater, an untested hot water heater (has not been used), ceiling exhaust fan, smoke and carbon dioxide detectors, 30 amp power cord, an indoor aisle shower and curtain, an outdoor shower, Thetford marine toilet, window curtains, 12 volt oscillating fan and a 15" LCD TV. Small interior lights have been upgraded with LED bulbs, non-skid stair treads have been replaced and a custom winter storage cover is included. Frame includes a trailer hitch and a bike rack for two bikes. The Versatile comes with a rear double bed plus two single beds that are converted from the lounge seats (suitable for child beds). The Dodge gas engine is the 5.9 liter, 360 CID, 245 hp V-8 which for us averaged around 13.5 mpg. Original Roadtrek owner's manual, numerous accessory manuals and Carfax report are included, plus accumulated maintenance documentation.
