Seller's Description

1998 Chevy Astro AWD High Top Conversion. Truly a one-of-a-kind vehicle with all of the interior and exterior upgrades. Drives great- typically around 16mpg fully loaded. Build out includes: - Bed (48" wide x 64" long) - Plenty of storage (overhead and under bed) - 54" floor to ceiling height - "Kitchenette" with counter top, sink w/ hand pump, water storage, and additional storage - 125 amp-hour, 12V AGM deep cycle aux. battery - 150W Renogy solar panel - Victron Energy MPPT SMartSolar charge controller - Smart battery isolator (charge aux. battery from vehicle's alternator while running) - 300 watt pure sine power inverter - Dometic CFX35 electric cooler/fridge - Ceiling fan: Maxxair MaxxFan deluxe with remote - Kenwood bluetooth stereo - Rear hitch/rack - Light bar The AC does not work and may never, it leaks/does not hold refrigerant. Power steering fluid slowly leaks and needs to be topped off once a year or so. Rust typical of an older car. Recent maintenance includes new rear brake lines, regular oil changes, and new front right wheel hub. Vehicle inspection done 6-30-2023: - Concern about an old oil change sticker that is still in the windshield. Oil was last changed in May 2023. - Front driver side shock mount bolt is broken. Easy fix. - Hydro-booster, steering gear box, and power steering cooler lines leaking. Confirms slow leak of power steering fluid. - Oil cooler lines leaking. - "all leaks look worse than they are as they may have been leaking for some time, all fluids are full" - Air filter is dirty. - Fuel filter looks old. - Front and rear brakes are in good condition, front a 4mm and rear at 5mm. - Differential, trans, transfer case fluids are all looking good and full. - Coolant is testing well within spec at -34*. Quote received to replace leaking hydro-booster, steering gear box, power steering cooler lines, and oil cooler lines ~ $1920. None of these issues impact the operation of the vehicle - just a slow leak of power steering fluid. Willing to negotiate price to accommodate these repairs.
