Seller's Description
1983 Eagle Model 10 40ft Motorhome Bus Conversion LOWER PRICE! Detroit Diesel 6V92 mechanical. 5 speed manual. 12K Diesel generator. 50 amp shore power with automatic transfer switch. 2000 watt 12v to 120v inverter with four 6volt Trojan batteries. We’ve downsized the way we travel, so we are selling our converted Eagle bus! Titled as an RV. I have driven this for 10,000 miles without any mechanical problems. Previous owner claims that the engine was rebuilt 10,000 miles before I bought it, no way to verify that though. Hasn’t been driven much the last four years, but it fires right up every time. Not sure what make the generator is, but it runs well and powers everything you need. Two rooftop AC units. Coach AC and heat are functional, but the AC has a slow coolant leak. 120v refrigerator and microwave. Propane oven and cooktop. Precision Temp RV-550 NSP propane tankless water heater. Queen bed and triple bunks in the back. Some typical things a 38 year old bus need attention: Some rust on the passenger side storage bays. The lights recently developed a grounding issue that I haven’t gotten around to hunting down. I’m sure there’s a few other things that I can’t think of at the moment. Selling as-is. Send me your questions.
