V8 Power - this thing "idles" at 2000 rpm @ 75 mph, smooth as can be, and runs up over mountain passes with ease. Super low miles and well-maintained. Hard-sided so all you have to do is roll into camp - sleep with security and no messy setup in bad weather. Works for us as it is, but very easy to modify if you have new ideas. So much already professionally installed. Partial list: - Aluminess full-length rack with ladder. - Instant setup Fiamma awning; never a problem at high speed or on rugged terrain when stowed. - Smoked-glass dual-vent windows with no-see-um bug screens on both sides. - Integrated pushouts for increased sleeping legroom. - 18" black Method beadlock-style wheels. - Brand new plus-size BFG AT KO2 tires (275/70R18) for added ground clearance, traction, and sidewall strength; we recently crawled through terrain I'd not take most stock 4x4's into - no problem! - Rear axle Sumo overload helper springs for increased stability, load handling, and cornering performance. - 300 W solar panels up top. - Versatile electrical system. So much to mention. Recently upgraded and ruggedized. Battery #2 (AGM) charges from alternator and/or solar (easy switch control). The vehicle itself: Van is based on the Nissan Titan platform, with legendary reliability; we drove an OG Titan to 165k with no noticeable loss of engine power. Engine is de-tuned from Titan baseline (for even more longevity) - Consider the Titan of same year has 390 HP and 394 Torque! Leaves Sprinter vans in the dust, and enables towing, high-altitude ops, and so much more; yet the spec is still 21 MPG highway and gas is way cheaper than diesel with no DEF nonsense. Rear axle traction control system with override. Manual gear override and selectable tow mode. TPMS, trip computer, and system status display. Modern touchscreen nav with aux and USB inputs, weather, map routing, SiriusXM, and phone link. Additional built-in 150W/400W AC inverter. Extendable dual-view side mirrors for complete awareness in traffic and when towing. Large center console and ample cupholders and storage in side pockets and above the seating positions. Rear backup camera and ultrasonic sensors. Cruise control and steering wheel audio controls. High-capacity heater and AC. * Van can be upgraded to 4x4 with hi/lo for about $16k (with 2" lift) at Tim Dahle Southtowne in SLC - they use Titan parts and do not cut the frame or any junk like that.
