Seller's Description

Hey everyone, I’m selling my 1997 E-150 hightop with 134k miles for $18k. It’s a great van that I’ve had the pleasure of owning, but my girlfriend and I recently settled down in San Diego. We hope to find a buyer that will enjoy and take care of it just as much as we have. With over $11k worth of 2-year maintenance (with receipts) on the bulletproof 4.6 v8, the van is very reliable and economical so you can go anywhere you want. This engine actually gets better mpg than the 5.4 and still has enough power to comfortably cruise on the highway. The interior is open and spacious. There’s plenty of storage space and its high top makes it comfortable to stand tall for those 5’4 and under. We’ve just painted the cabinets, put new carpet in the cabin, and recently installed a ceiling tapestry. The cabinets are a neutral green which compliments its quality wooden side panels and counter, making it a perfect decorative canvas. There is enough electrical power for you to go off grid. It has two power supplies, solar panels and alternator. There are two batteries, one is an Ecoflow DELTA located in the kitchen cabinets that is being powered by 400w of solar panels. We’ve used this battery to run our fridge 24/7 and appliances with higher wattage such as a kettle and blender. The Ecoflow and fridge pair really well as they can be taken out of the van and be used anywhere, perfect for camping. Located under the bed is a lead acid (house) battery that gets recharged by the van’s alternator. We use the house battery to power our phones, laptops, lights, fan, water pump, and other small electronics. Our kitchen has a smooth countertop and sink with an adjustable faucet. There are 6 gallons of water supply under the sink which got us through a week without needing to refill (conserving water of course). If its just one person it can last much longer. Its easy to refill and dispose of water, there are plastic pipes that you just flop out of the tank and then take the tank to refill. Here are more details about the van: -New 4x100 watts flexible solar panels -New Ecoflow Delta 1260wh with 1800w inverter (3300w surge) -New portable 45L Bougerv Chestfridge with dual zone - Cruise control, back up camera, touchscreen bluetooth head unit with upgraded speakers. - Custom cedar wood build that has been clean and well kept. - New AC installed and heater. - Maxx Air Fan. 10-speed intake and exhaust - LED dimmer lights wrapped around the interior. - Ample Storage: Beneath bed, side shelving, drawers, and sink cabinet. - Blackout window covers for added stealth and insulation. - Insulated ceiling and floor - New terrain tires with tire pressure sensors - New House Battery, 105Ah Lead acid battery with 1kw inverter. -DC to DC charger connected to House Battery and alternator - 12v Water pump for sink with 6 gallons of clean and gray water. - Coleman 2 burner stove - Extra van life equipment included! Cons: - Cosmetics on the exterior - There is some surface rust on the right rear side and undercarriage. Mechanic said it wasn’t anything cancerous but should be addressed by the next buyer. - Backup camera recently stopped working, not sure what caused it. - Recent mechanic visit mentioned there is a small leak from the brake master cylinder - Passenger mirror is broken Clean title, registered until Sep. 2023, and just passed smog for the new owner. I’m a motivated seller, feel free to ask me any questions or shoot an offer. I would also consider a trade for a reliable commuter car plus cash.
