Refresh paint on building interior of main cabinets *** This van was custom designed and built by an architect (myself) who is a travel enthusiast. One of the aesthetic features is that it includes two types of wood to create a stylish interior. The build-out takes advantage of the cargo space by using a tall platform for the bed which allows for plenty of storage and the van’s systems to be placed out of the way, underneath the bed. The van itself is built on a Nissan Truck Chassis, creating a better ride on both paved and dirt roads. The specs of the van and systems are as follows: Plumbing - The conversion supplies a 21-gallon freshwater tank, 6.5-gallon gray water tank under the sink (detachable gray water container). The water is filtered and is supplied by a DC water pump and reservoir system. New Cooper All terrain tires - Discoverer A/T3 LT 245/75R17 Load E 10 Electrical - 4–100-watt solar panels on the roof. Renogy Rover Controller provides distribution of power to a 100 amp/hr lithium battery. Additional batteries could be added to the system to provide plenty of additional electricity. Electrical - 2,000-watt inverter. Wired to allow 3 duplex outlets to use AC power at the 3 outlets. 2 in the main cargo van area and 1 at the back (garage). Electrical - DC/DC charger for additional charging from the Van’s engine. This is a 40-amp unit. Electrical - 2 sets of LED lights, strip & puck lights, with digital dimmer controllers in the main part of the van and 1 strip LED light with the same digital dimmer controller for the “garage” area in the back. Electrical/Mech - 1 Roof fan/exhaust with rain protection hood. 10 speed (Maxair) Build - architectural styled finishing with 2 types of wood - Oak & a dark barn wood type planks covering the walls & ceilings. A butcher block countertop is used for the kitchenette. Build - LVT flooring to match dark wood throughout cargo van area Build - Rigid insulation provided at the floor & ceiling. The walls are insulated with a 3M’s Thinsulate in the cavities w/ Rigid insulation for thermal bridging. Build - drawer slide for a 60-quart top-load refrigerator (DC/AC) which comes with the van and slides under the bed and centered in main cargo space. Build - plenty of drawers for storage as well as a large storage area above the cab, which is accessible from the main cargo area (great for storage of clothes and other items). Build - garage area contains a 48” drawer slide for mountain/road bike, which slides out for easier access and has a Rocky Mount for a through axle type bike. 4 drawer cabinets for storage/organization. Additional space for container type storage provides access to the electrical system.
