I bought this van in 2021, and have since had fewer opportunities than I would have liked to travel, due to demanding work life. However, she has been across the country and back multiple times with her previous owners, and is still kicking with full power! The 170 wheelbase and high roof lends itself to a spacious and luxurious interior, while the classic Sprinter design makes even the tightest of turns feel like a breeze. Specs: Electrical system: - (2x) 95Amp-hour batteries: H8-AGM by Duralast - KISAE Abso 2000 inverter charger - Homeline load center HOM2-4L70 - Renogy Rover 40A MPPT solar charge converter - (2x) 100W Renogy solar panels - All plugs offer 120v (US standard) output - The ceiling fan is built-in to this electrical system for ease of use Water system: - Shower has 15gal fresh water tank, sink has 5gal fresh water tank. Each empty into separate 5gal grey water tanks that have easy turn spout mechanism for draining. - The walls around the pipes are extremely well-insulated, and so the pipes have never burst or had any issues (even when the previous owner took it through a blizzard in Kansas!) General car info: - Teak wood ROOF DECK!! - Average 20-24 MPG - Miles: ~210k (if you’re looking for a Sprinter, you already know their Diesel engines last at least to 500k+) - When I bought the van, I put $15k into the necessary engine repairs. Then just before going down the East Coast, I got new brakes and pads. I had it serviced before driving back to MD from North Carolina, where all they needed to do was replace an O-ring. Everything runs great now! It accelerates well, and brakes smoothly. It’s a diesel engine, so it likes going fast ;) Other misc: - The stove is propane-fueled.
