Seller's Description
2013 Ford Transit Connect XLT Campervan with 12" High Top 128k miles I'm selling my high-top Ford Transit Connect Campervan! This is my second van build, and has been a great place to live over the past two years. This little campervan is extra special due to it's additional 12” high top from Fiberine. With an interior height of 63", humans 5’3” and shorter can fully stand up, and taller people have plenty of extra headroom over the traditional mini camper. The unique layout of this van allows the ability to cook inside, which is a game-changer in case of inclement weather. The bed pulls out to a standard full-size bed to comfortably sleep two (the extra mattress is stored in a convenient shelf under the bed). The van comes with a 2" hitch and a Stowaway2 hitch box on a swing-out arm (removable) for extra gear storage on the road. This is a great vehicle that drives, acts, and parks like a car, with the advantages of a campervan. Van gets good mileage, typically averaging 25mpg combined city/highway. The best I’ve gotten was an occasional 33mpg, but that was going 60pmh on the highway and I nearly never have the patience for that. The Build: * Renogy solar setup: 200w solar panels, 100ah deep-cycle gel battery, charge controller * Dometic CF18 12v fridge/freezer * 10-speed Maxxair Fan * 2-burner propane stove built in, 11lb propane tank * Flexible water faucet (electric pump), 5 gallon freshwater tank * Single bed, easily expandable to standard Full-size bed * Hardwired dual CO/Propane detector * Havelock wool insulation * Front and rear 12V and USB outlets * Dimmable ceiling puck lights * Fairy lights (removable) * Lots of built-in and under-bed storage * 2” hitch, Stowaway2 hitch box with swing-out arm * Custom window covers (included with the van), with reflectix backing The Van: * 128,700 miles * Drive Type: FWD * Transmission: Automatic * Window Rain Guard Visors * Driver and passenger airbags * Radio/CD * Tire Pressure Monitoring System * Cruise control, AC, and heat all work great * New tires as of July 2022 I bought the van two years ago; it had been used by insurance adjusters previously (it had a little office setup inside) and was regularly maintenanced by a major insurance company. It's been a great, reliable van for me. I changed the oil every 5k miles and had the transmission fluid changed when I hit 100k. The title is free and clear and in my name. I've traveled across the U.S. and down to Mexico in this van, and it's performed great. I'm selling because I'm moving into a converted school bus with my partner :) I'm happy to answer any questions or send additional pictures or video!
