Sold - 1998 Mauck MSV 1120s

Seller's Description

For sale is a Mauck MSV 1120s, there were about 100 made just outside of Columbus, Ohio. They were RV, bus, limo hybrids built mostly for celebrities and royalty. Alan Jackson and George Forman were a couple of the people that purchased one new for over 100k. It's 25' long with a 144" wheelbase exactly the same as the extended sprinters. The coolest feature is it has butterfly front doors! Mechanicals: In terms of drive train + suspension, is all off the shelf parts. It has a 454 and a 4L80E mated to it. Makes around 450hp and 450tq. A 9inch ford rear end. As an example, the door handles are standard ford cars from the 90s, tail lights from a jeep Cherokee, and the headlights are from a ford Aeromax 18-wheeler. All came of the factory. It has an air suspension making it super smooth driving around. It's got 54k miles and drives great. We drove it back over 6 hours from Chicago to Columbus and it drove at 75-80 the whole way no issues. Tech/RV components: Was previously owned by a radio station as an event vehicle, so it was setup with a generator, not sure the specs, but it's all built in and does work last it was used. It has interior 12v lights, a battery-to-battery charger that charges when you drive, battery bank in the rear, looks like 4 large 12v car batteries, not sure about the wattage. It has a combo heater/ac unit in the ceiling, but I haven't tested it out more than turning it on. Also has a kill switch to make sure you don't run it dead when not in use. Has a minifridge built in underneath a sink with a water tank built into the walls, has a fill port in the door jamb you can dumb or hook a hose into. The couch in the back is a wrap around and would just need a center piece to turn it into a bed, I'm assuming it had one of those converting tables at some point. Interior: Leather couches in the back, all in great shape. The front leather seats are good as well, but the driver's seat has a small rip on a seam. The dash and switches show use, and a few plastic trim pieces are cracked, but everything is working as expected. Floors, walls, and ceiling are all in good shape as well, besides one spot in the rear. The last owner stored it with the rear hatch not completely closed it and leaked onto rear wall. Nothing severely damaged, just some water stains. Exterior: The exterior is decent but has a few flaws. I think the radio station must have had a grill too close to the side and it damaged an area of the paint and chipped the fiberglass. Nothing serious and everything is solid and not that noticeable. These is some residue on the side windows from the radio stations vinyl that was installed, will just need cleaned off. Also has a vinyl wrap still on the roof of the radio stations logo. The rear door is a little tough to shut, and probable needs aligned a little bit. Locks on the doors are working, but a little stiff. Has a hatch above the engine as well that is stuck, probably needs lubed up as do the rest. I can get plenty more pictures and answer any questions you might have. Price is negotiable for serious buyer. I was able to get financing and insurance when I bought it. I was able to get a loan through LightStream as a standard car with no issues and has a standard vehicle title. Insurance with Progressive RV with no issues either.
