2020 Ford Transit 250 Medium Roof 35,700 Miles (Single Owner) Fort Wayne, Indiana This ROAD READY 2020 Ford Transit has a medium roof, 148” Wheel Base, Rear Wheel Drive and a 2500 engine. It is a minimalist build designed specifically to require little to no maintenance while traveling. The electricity is generated from a Jackery power bank that can be charged with the solar panel or while driving. The Jackery operates the Maxx Air fan, lights in the ceiling and an outlet under the bed near the galley. The sink operates with a foot pump mounted to the floor with both fresh and greywater under the sink. The greywater can be emptied with a valve without leaving the van! The van was built for additional luxuries added easily. I knew either I or the next owner may want to add windows, a shower, or solar panels. A window could easily be added to the sliding door. There is an easy access point where cords from solar panels could be pulled to the garage area for battery storage. The closet could also be removed to add a shower if needed. If you are looking to build a van with these features, this would be a great starting point so you can travel immediately and add them when you’re ready! Some of my favorite features are: gas mileage- averaging 18 mpg on the highway, Medium Roof- allows for access to lower clearance. I am 5 ’6” and have 2 inches of extra headroom standing inside the van. Low maintenance- being a newer van I had zero maintenance issues with regular tire rotation and oil changes.
