Seller's Description
The best year of the Sprinter! No black death, common in other T1Ns and no complicated emissions systems that plague later years. I did a basic conversion on this Sprinter and while I'm quite attached to the vehicle, it may be time for us to part ways. In a previous life this van was an appliance delivery vehicle and that duty did a fair amount of cosmetic wear to the body. The interior is paneled with cedar. Thinsulate insulation (the stuff that goes in your synth puffy. Amazing choice by the way). The passenger seat fully swivels. The deep cycle battery charges off the alternator and there is plenty of room to expand the electrical system if you wanted to add a fridge, etc. Recently, I have replaced tires, suspension, radiator and a variety of hoses, gaskets, and sensors. I've addressed roof rust and fully serviced the transmission. I do have a full diagnostic report on the vehicle from a specialty diesel mechanic (1 year ago) that I would be happy to share. The one concerning thing it shows is "moderate blowby." This is typical for a diesel vehicle of this age and many vehicles continue with blowby for 100k miles. I also have what I believe to be the full service records on the vehicle (it's a lot of paper). I know the guts of this car very well and would be happy to answer questions and send a carfax report. AC does not work, sadly
