A nice Chevy Express converted to a campervan (diy). No modification to chassis/ body, except a roof cut out for Maxxair fan. Couches convert to a bed (6ft wide x 6'-1" long). European two-burner propane stove/sink combo (cold running water), 12 V refrigerator w/freezer. Marine deep cycle gel battery, charged by alternator (via battery isolator solenoid) or shore power, 1100 W inverter, swivel chair, back up camera and dark-tinted windows. Walls, ceiling and floor well insulated; with sound deadening mats, heat foam shield, rigid insulation and Reflectix as moisture barrier/insulation, marine grade vinyl floor. Drives very well, milage is mostly long-distance trips (Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, West Coast, National parks, etc...It's maneuverable and comfortable even on long trips. Good for boondocking and stealth camping. Can easily pull a trailer or a boat. It has not been used for some time re: pandemic, and now it can be used or upgraded by new, younger owners to enjoy the travels/open road.
