Seller's Description
I bought this van brand new and had it built out by a professional company “VanHaus Vans”. It is a very solid build with a bed length wise for taller people (I’m 6’2”)… I met my French fiancé in this van on a Honduras beach and with the birth of my son our little family is outgrowing this van. We nicknamed the van the “cacoon” and we feel ready to spread our wings and are looking for others who could use the cacoon. Everything works great, and after meeting many DIY van people along the way, it’s been the most well built van I have seen by far. I am trying to sell this van quick by February 3rd. I’m headed back down to Baja and I’d rather get a travel trailer. If you’re interested, I promise you’ll be stoked. I bought the van brand new and empty and paid in total over 110k to buy and get it all fitted. This is a Ford Transit 350 Ecoboost 2 wheel drive with an upgraded heavy duty Alternator and tow package, cruise control and limited slip differential Heated driver seat It has 2 x 100 watt solar panels and 2x200 amp he AGM batteries. A Xantrex 2,000 sine wave converter/ charger for shore power and can run a bullet blender. Vitrifrigo fridge is a DC 3.2 cu ft. 2 x Max Air fans that go both directions and have remote controls that can set automatic temp control and can be controlled from bed side remote Light bar Surround lights that help with backing up into off grid areas. Upgraded stereo system Upgraded BF Goodrich All Terain tires which have been replaced within the last year. Roof Rack and ladder 4 Touch lights and reading light around bed for easy on and off when sleeping. The main lights have 12 over head dimmable LED’s and a separate kitchen light with 3 LED’s over the stove top There are both outdoor lighting and step lighting. The outdoor lighting has a bright white or amber colored light to not attract the bugs. It has a 15 gal fresh water tank that is pressure filled with a garden hose externally and 10 gallon grey water tank with an external release valve. The two bucket seats swivel and a table with a moveable arm can be set up. The table can also be set up outside with brackets behind the door. The roof inside the van is set up with heavy duty tie down rings which can hang a surf board up to 10 feet. I had a large dog and created a space under one counter for his dog bed to be recessed and comfortable while I was cooking. I bought and had this van built out because I love taking naps and having a bed with wheels seemed genius. The full bed has a memory foam mattress in a water proof vevlvet like washable cover which keeps the mattress from getting humid. The bed is set in place but length wise for tall people (I’m 6,2”) and have space left. Has two 120 electrical outlets: one under kitchen counter and the other behind bed. Also a usb charger and cigaret lighter plug in kitchen. Propane stove with a 7 gallon propane tank under the van which lasted me over a year before needing to refill. I was originally going to head back to Mexico with the van so I just had replaced within the last month: New heavy duty rotors and breaks in all four tires Oil changed in axels Oil changed in car with new oil and air filter A full tune up to make sure it’s Mexico ready and top off of all fluids 2 new 200 amph renogy AGM batteries New 2000 watt xantrex sine converter New stereo system New shore power charger chord The van was my dream and I’m sad to see her go but excited to slow down and put some roots in the ground. I hope this finds someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.
