He can function as a daily driver with outstanding gas mileage; a weekend warrior; or as an extended road trip adventurer. As you can see from the pictures and video, we have taken pristine care of Baloo and he has afforded us countless adventures and even contributed to maintaining our sanity during this COVID pandemic. As convenient, agile and efficient as he is we’re looking to purchase another RV that doesn’t require us to pop the top and make the bed every night. Interior structure: --SCA 152 elevating roof system with steel reinforcement frame; raiseable upper bed platform with soft touch springs and upholstered mattress. --Reimo bench seat that can be relocated in multiple locations throughout the van. Four locking positions for travel and converts into a bed for two adults. --Vinyl sheet flooring for easy clean up and 18mm thick X-treme Insulator used for sound deadening and insulation. --Cabinet faces, countertops, doors and drawer fronts finished off in Dupont Corian. CNC work is done on the back side to reduce weight while still retaining the benefits of Corian. --Seat Swivels for both driver and passenger seats make the van feel more open. Four adults can sit comfortably around the table for dinner or games. Kitchenette Design: --Dining table is stored behind the bench seat. There is a swivel mount attached to the seat face for the table leg to mount to. This allows the table to move along with the seat so that it is usable at any location. --European hinges for smooth operation along with push button latches that are flush when locked keep the cabinet lines very clean. --5-gallon Fresh water tank; On demand water pump with inline filter. Hinged glass cover that allows for more counter space when not in use. --6-gallon grey tank plumbed to exterior with valve --One burner induction cooktop with 110 volt receptacle --Dometic 12 volt refrigerator with 39 LTR capacity. It also incorporates a vent lock that can hold the door in an open position to allow fresh air in while not in use. This happened during Baloo’s maiden voyage indicating that the canvas needs to be protected from the metal latches. Since then, I make sure that I place rubber protectors between the metal pieces of the pop top and the canvas material. (see pictures) Small scratch on solar panel (see picture) that has been sealed and does not affect the functionality of the solar power system. This too happened early on when I inadvertently opened the garage door when the pop top was deployed.
