Seller's Description

We have owned the van since April 2021 and due to life changes we need to sell this gem to it's next owner. It's rare to find a custom van like ours and with 5 seats / seatbelts! It's perfect for a family to hit the open road! The previous owner is who created the wonderful interior. Originally, this van was part of a well-maintained fleet for the City of Cottonwood, Utah. In 2018 the van was purchased as an empty shell, and they spent four months converting it into something their family of four would be comfortable in. The van has never had a single breakdown and the brakes and rotors were replaced in August after a vibration was detected (maintenance paperwork available). We hope a new owner will enjoy it and have great adventures with it. Whether you're a weekend warrior or an aspiring full-time vanlifer, a family or a retiree or a college student, this van will fit your lifestyle. Features include: - Chevy Express 2500, extended body. Solid, dependable engine design. 14-17mpg. Easy to maneuver, easy to park. Fits in any parking spot. - Intentional "stealth" design looks like a utility vehicle. Park and camp anywhere. - Seats up to five, with seatbelts - Sleeps up to five: Two adults and 2-3 children - 400 watts solar panels. 40a Renogy Rover charge controller w/ Bluetooth for monitoring from phone. Fused with breakers. - 100 amp-hour LiFePO4 battery. Rated for 3,000 cycles (approx 10 years). - 1500-watt Aims pure sine wave inverter. Powerful enough to cook meals, run a microwave (included), power laptops, toast bagels, blend smoothies, etc. The novelty of living comfortably off-grid never wears off. - 110-volt outlets in cabin area (GFCI-protected) and between front seats. 12-volt outlet ports located throughout cabin, for phones, kindles, electric blankets, etc. - High-efficiency fridge. Large capacity fits full gallon of milk, fresh veggies, meats, cold drinks, and more. Can store enough food for 3-4 days. Adjustable temperature, can be set below freezing if desired. - Unique layout: Interior living space quickly transforms from Travel mode, to Dining room, to Living room, to Bedroom. - Slide-out pantry. Locks in place for travel - Tons of countertop space: 8 ft of length! - Retractable full-length dining table with L-shaped seating. Fully hidden in stowed position. - Bench seat with unique three folding positions. Seats three. Storage beneath. - Two beds: One full size, one queen size. Hidden when in stowed position. Unlike typical camper designs, this design hides your bedding out-of-sight during the day. - Custom upholstery. Zippered. Machine-washable fabric - LED lighting throughout. Five separate zones: Overhead recessed lights, accent lighting, cove lights, over-sink night-light, etc. All dimmable from very bright to very dim - Exterior LEDs on side of van. Great for lighting up a campsite at night. Dimmable - Blackout curtain for privacy. Sunshade blinds for front windows. Insulated snap-on curtain between beds - Built-in whiteboard on door. Great for artwork and inspirational quotes - Built-in sink, connected to fresh-water and gray-water tanks. Operable as gravity fed or pressurized (your choice) - Outdoor shower. Solar heated, for warm showers in the evening. Great after a day at the beach, lake, or sand dunes. Quick disconnect. Popup privacy shower tent/stall included - Large garage / storage area at rear of van. Store hammocks, hiking gear, sports equipment, board games, roller blades, beach canopy, camp chairs, river tubes, seasonal clothing, and more - Double-hinged rear bed. In 'up' position, offers additional height in garage for taller item like a bike - Removable clothes line in garage for drying beach towels, swimsuits, etc. - Cabinetry uses quality 1/2" and 3/4" plywood. Doesn't rattle or squeak when travelling - Clean, rustic-elegant style: White paint, distressed woods, and metal accents. Steel panels added for decor. (We used then to showcase souvenir magnets from every city, state, and national park we visited, plus a scratch-off travel map that traced our route.) - Tons of storage cabinets and cubbies throughout the cabin: Spice cabinets, Laptop storage, Bluetooth speaker cubbies, utensil tray, etc, etc, etc - Spacious dresser drawers for clothing, etc. - Special Lego drawer with baseplates. Really! (They're removable if you've outgrown Legos. But who does that?) - Stand-up height, hinged side table attached to side door. Sized to fit a propane camp stove or BBQ - Shoe bin beneath side-door step - Fully insulated ceiling, walls, and floor, using sealed and rigid foam. High R-value. Sound-dampening material affixed within walls. - Variable-speed MaxxAir fan. Second fan could be added (van is already wired for it) - A/C unit in front dash blows cold and strong when engine is running - Smoke, carbon monoxide, and propane detectors; two separate units for redundancy - Dashboard cam and backup cam with 24/7 recording capability - Tow hitch - New Goodyear tires and new starter battery As for condition of vehicle, it has been well-maintained, with oil changes every 10,000 miles. Tires are less than a year and a half old. - Exterior is in good condition except for a scrape on rear driver's side. Side door has some dents from the previous owner. There are also the typical nicks. No rust however. (See photos for specifics.) - Stove = induction cooktop. - Toilet = portable (not in photos but fits snugly on floor behind back seat). - AC/heat is only with engine on, but ceiling fan can be run independently. Sold by owner, as-is, paid in full (when we purchased the van we wired the bank transfer ahead of taking it over and obtaining the title). The van is immediately available.
