The Build: I built this van over the course of 2021 and took it on a 7 month tour of the US starting in May of 2022. The woodworking is solid and “plug and play” (i.e. easily swappable if you wanted to build your own/upgrade). Ample amount of storage via the overhead cabinets, storage under the bench, and kitchen cabinets. \ Webasto + insulation keeps this thing toasty. I’ve spent subzero nights with the heater going (about 10th/gallon per hour) and been more than toasty. The cabinet mounted fan comes in hand to help circulate and keep the heat more dispersed. The Van: No mechanical issues, inspection is up to date and the tires have some solid life left in them. The tall/extended body allows for a lot of room for one person and ample room for 2, including bikes/snowboards/skis and storage. Height is no problem inside (I’ve had a 6’4 friend stand up with additional clearance to spare. Driving is like driving a car. It has cruise, lane assist (vibration and correction), collision detection, Bluetooth, backup camera, and satellite accessibility. You can also remote start/stop it from the Ford app. MPG is around 15 in the city and if you keep it mellow (65 and under) you can get 19 on the highway depending on whether you’re in the mountains (more like 16-17).
