Seller's Description
Vehicles can catch your eye for all sorts of reasons, the yellow paint of a vintage Corvette, the sleek lines of an Aston Martin, the height of a lifted truck on 37” tires, etc. For our Land Cruiser, dubbed “The Beast,” there are multiple reasons why it catches your eye, gets people’s heads to turn, or gets people to give you a thumbs up or a shaka! It’s like driving a unicorn down the road; people notice. The classic Land Cruiser signals reliability, durability, adventure and has the urban legend of outliving its owners. The Beast does all this and links you to the Land Cruiser community. The raised roof, right-hand drive, custom bumper, and snorkel add to the “Look at me!” appeal. Someone often wants to know more, whether at a stoplight, driving down the freeway, or parking at your local market. Sharing the Beast’s import story, what it’s like to drive a right-hand drive in the US, and how “turbo” has a different meaning for the Beast allows you to engage with like-minded folk. Its unique features, such as the custom drawer system that folds out into a bed for camping, reminds people that adventure is calling! Often these conversations lead to questions about selling, and to be honest, the answer has always been a solid “No way.” I mean, if you had a unicorn, would you sell it? Probably not. So you might be wondering, why are we selling it. Truthfully, it’s painful. Chapters of life need to end for a new one to start, and we are itching for that next chapter. We hope whoever gets the Beast next feels as badass as we got to, finds joy in keeping her driving down the road, and indulges in conversations with fellow car lovers. Make us an offer we can’t refuse, and let your next chapter be story worthy. Most of the photos were taken 2 yrs ago, so the truck has developed some patina. We think it gives it more character.
