Our dear Van, Ricky Bobby, was purchased new from a Ram dealer in Texas in February of 2022. We had the interior professionally installed by Wayfarer Vans in Colorado Springs, CO (check them out here: https://wayfarervans.com/). Ricky is accident free and the warranty is still in effect. We traveled and lived in this van full-time for 7 months this year and enjoyed every moment. As we return to full-time work, it’s time for our dearly loved van, Ricky Bobby, to be loved by someone else. ABOUT THE BUILD: We selected the Walt Camper Van Conversion with the Standard floor plan. Additional features include: • Maxx Air Deluxe Vent Fan above the bed - It has the ability to circulate air both in and out of the van. • Insulated partition – We were skeptical of this feature at first, but it is seriously the most convenient feature. It functions as a blackout curtain for sleeping, and it’s way easier than putting window covers on the passenger/driver side windows and the windshield. Simply unbuckle the clips and the partitions roll down. It makes stealth camping stealthier, and it looks like a standard work cargo van partition from the outside view. • Upper Bed Cabinet – Incredibly handy for clothing storage. • Dometic CFX3 35 Powered Cooler – Looks like a standard cooler, but runs off of the Goal Zero like a fridge. • Goal Zero Yeti 1500X – The van’s power source. It plugs into a 12V (that was installed by Wayfarer) in the back of the van so it charges while you drive. Can also plug into a standard wall outlet to charge. • Driver and Passenger Side Vented Windows – These screen windows allow for a nice cross breeze. There are handles on each side you twist to open and close the bottom half of the windows. Insulated/ vented curtain was installed on both sides. • Laveo Dry Flush Toilet – This is the easiest self-contained toilet out there in my opinion. No mess, easy disposal, no messing with compost or plumbing. Eliminates odor more successfully than other camping toilets. 10/10 Would recommend. ABOUT THE VAN: The van itself is a 2022 Ram 2500 Promaster Cargo Van with a 159” WB (NOT extended) and a high roof. The warranty is a 5 year/ 60,000 mile powertrain limited warranty as well as a 3 year/ 36,000 mile basic limited warranty.
