Seller's Description
1999 Roadtrek 170 Popular 170,082 miles Built on a Dodge Ram 2500. Non-smoking and pet free. Only 17 feet long, and fits in regular car parking spots. We are the 3rd owners. The first 2 were retirees who only drove it seasonally and kept it garaged. We purchased it in 2019 and looped the country. These are hard to find in good condition (we spent a year finding this one!). Everything is running and working. It’s a 1999 so please keep that in mind, however, we are always told (and agree) that it is in great shape for the year. Considering new Roadtreks start at over $100k we have been very pleased with all this vintage van has to offer for an affordable price. Features: All major appliances in good working condition including: -3-way refrigerator & freezer (works plugged in, while driving, or parked not plugged in) -2 burner propane cooktop -Range hood vent -Kitchen Sink -Toilet -Propane Furnace -Generator -Privacy door separator -Dash AC/Heat -Coach AC unit -Inside and outside shower -Keyless Car alarm installed -Keyless entry -Kill switch installed -Driver and passenger seats swivel all the way around! -Sleeps 3 -Hitch -Spare Tire -CD player with Bluetooth was installed in 2019 (Pioneer DEH-S4100BT). Unit can link with your phone. -Plenty of power outlets -Back couch turns into a bed (we are both 6’ tall and slept comfortably) -Smallest of the Roadtrek RV’s (fits in a regular parking spot!) -Lots of storage -Easy to drive and park -No major dents to body -Van was well taken care of. We were diligent with oil changes and regularly took to mechanics to make sure everything was working properly NOTES: -The ceiling vent fan only goes in the exhaust direction. Moves air out well but can not pull air in. -The driver’s seat had a tear in the fabric and a patch was added (see photo). -Two small screen frames for the back windows need to be re-screened (see photo). -There are minor rust spots that are to be expected with its year (see photos). -There is a piece of thick fabric covering the wall where the microwave used to be. 3 little holes are in the wall where the microwave brackets connected to the wall (see photo). -Passenger middle seat seatbelt input needs to be replaced (see photo). -The check engine light has a mind of its own. It turns off and on and sometimes flashes. We have been diligent about regular checkups as a notification like this demands attention, but the consensus among all the mechanics we have taken it to is that it’s an older truck so it is not odd that the check engine light malfunctions in this way. We took it to a mechanic in October 2022 and this was the verdict then as well. -We check and add oil often as she uses a decent amount. This is another thing we have been told is expected from a vintage van like this.
