It’s treated us to cozy and fun nights over the past couple seasons, but we’re expecting our first child and need something that will accommodate a third person. Unfortunately that means we have to move on from this fantastic little rig. We kept the set up simple, and it’s proven extremely functional in every season. We built a basic bed platform which fits two large sleeping pads side by side, or you can remove half the platform to accommodate a single sleeping pad which allows for some extra cargo space. The platform can also easily be removed to allow you to use the van as a utility vehicle. A fold out shelf is mounted on the rear driver side door which fits most camping stoves. The van comes installed with a MaxAir Maxx Fan, Havelock wool insulation, and a Yeti 1000x battery which powers the fan and accessories. You can pull the battery out easily to recharge at home. Included is the Yeti Integration Kit to allow the car to recharge the battery when you’re driving **needs EC8 ring terminal with extension cord. The Thule Bike Rack fits bikes with nearly any tire size (we had 2.75” mountain bikes) and the Yakima Backswing adapter clears the rear doors so you can open up the back with ease.
