Seller's Description

2018 Ford Transit 250 3.5L EcoBoost High Roof Camper Van Conversion 62,000 miles; ave 17 mpg; $80,000 VIN 1FTYR2XGXJKB20076; one owner, no accidents; have title Our van has served us well as we traveled the East Coast comfortably and affordably (averaging 17 mpg) for the past several years in search of our new home. Now it’s time for someone else to enjoy this turn- key setup! The high roof provides spacious clearance inside, and the total length of 20 feet fits nicely in one parking space with the total height estimated at 9’6”. The custom-built double bed sleeps 5’6” perfectly and has room to sit up to read, with a comfortable custom foam mattress and two sets of Bed Scrunchies to hold bedding in place. There’s generous storage under and inside the bed, a closet shelf with cloth bins, little twinkly lights for ambience, a hanging nightstand, a cell-phone holder and mounting bracket to stream movies in bed, and a side shelf so you don’t drop things over the back edge of the bed. Two stairs lead up to the bed - one removeable to access underbed storage from inside the van, while the other folds down to create the back of a bench seat or serves as a small tabletop for the two built-in seats with storage inside. A nook to store a laptop and a file folder/magazine bin are behind the stairs. The kitchen countertop has a storage shelf underneath, overhead shelving with cloth bins, built-in spice rack and canned-goods shelves, a Dometic C28 12V refrigerator, and a hotplate storage rack. The sink has a 5-gallon fresh water tank, manual foot pump, and a 5-gallon wastewater tank with an overflow or leak alarm, and a small storage tray underneath for your dish soap, hand soap, etc. There’s an overhead shelf for additional food storage, and a flip-up table provides additional counterspace. The passenger seat swivels to become part of the living area. Blackout thermal curtains separate the cab from the living area, and thermal ProDex pads for the windows provide privacy and temperature control. A brand new Separatte camping toilet system in a self-contained waterproof bin slides under the counter behind the curtain when not in use. The kitchen and bedside outlets, both with USB and 120V, are powered by two 12V house batteries and an Ames 2000-watt pure sine power inverter. These are protected with heavy screening in the under-bed storage area. Both a heavy-duty alternator and a 20-amp power cord can recharge the house batteries. A MaxxFan 10-speed fan with remote control provides ventilation. Rain guards cover the top few inches of the front windows for rainy day camping, and screens provide protection in dry weather. The walls and ceiling are insulated with ProDex; the floor has 1-inch rigid foamboard under the original felt/rubber mat. The front cab is protected by a WeatherTech floor mat, and the whole van has soundproofing for a quiet ride. Cruise control, a backup camera and beepers make driving easy. There’s an entry step and grab bar for safety, as well as fire extinguishers and CO and smoke alarms. Reflective tape outside the van improves visibility at night, as well as on the inside edges of all the doors to show that a door has been opened. There’s a towing hitch installed. Oil changes and required maintenance were done every 5K miles; a new battery was installed in Nov of 2019; rear brakes were done in Oct 2021; the tires are in good shape, installed in Nov 2021 with 17,000 miles on them; and there are two new oxygen sensors. FINE PRINT – Some of the LED crystals on the fridge display no longer work but the fridge works well. We had an issue with the Maxx Fan not reversing several years ago and got a replacement circuit board but it seemed to have fixed itself. (Part included in case it happens again.) There’s a spot on the counter by the sink that’s starting to get worn and it could use another coat of polyurethane, and the front seats have some minor staining from eating in the van and using hand sanitizer. Bonus – We can transfer our remaining membership through May to Harvest Hosts/Boondockers Welcome. Where will your new van take you?
