Seller's Description
I am selling my 1999 Toyota Tacoma with ARE camper shell and custom bed build. I am the second owner of this well-loved yet well-maintained truck that was purchased brand-new in Reno. I absolutely love this truck and am only selling it because I need something a little bit bigger to fit my family. The Truck: - 1999 Xtracab - 2.7L 4cyl. engine - 4x4 with manual locking hubs - 216,5xx miles - Interior is in excellent condition. No rips or stains. - Husky floor mats - Removable carpeted platform for the backseat (I built it for my dogs, but it's a great level surface for storage) - Exterior has a couple of bumps and bruises, but nothing that affects the functionality of the truck. The paint is in excellent condition overall. - Clean title in hand The Camper Shell: - Custom-made A.R.E. shell (specifically for the first gen Xtracabs) - Opens and locks on 3 sides (comes with 3 keys) - Completely sealed with no leaks whatsoever - Adjustable roof rack - Tail light wired into the truck - Window with cab access - Custom shelving - Removeable curtains - Storage net The Build: - Custom-built to fit this particular model truck - Sleeps two very comfortably (For a mattress I use two pieces of furniture foam I bought from Lowe's that I will include in the sale - lightly used) - Carpeted - Large storage drawer with 4 compartments - Two-leveled kitchen drawer that holds any standard camping stove - Two additional compartments on each side that can be accessed from the back or top of the build-out Maintenance I have done: - Hercules AT tires with only 10k on the tread - Axle - Lower ball joints - Tie rods - Alignment - All drive belts - Newish brakes - Replaced exhaust manifold - Replaced filters - Added OEM skid plate - Oil changes done every 3k miles - I have all service records from the time I owned it (2 years), but the truck has been serviced at Sierra Car Care in NW Reno for its entire life (10+ years of service records). I have put a ton time, effort, and money into this truck to improve its functionality and maintain its life, and it has a lot of life left in it. It is an awesome overlanding rig or even just a daily driver. It's gone on long trips and rough roads and it has never once let me down. Hoping it can go to a new home where it can be loved just as much. At this time, I am only interested in selling it all in one piece. Contact me to come and see it for yourself or if you have any questions. $13,000 OBO
